G.I. Joe Classified - News & Updates

Yeah, I figured it would have about the same width but is more complex than the CLAW. Well... $100 seems sorta reasonable but still me than I wanna spend for a guy, so gonna wait this out. I'd be fine with a stripped down retro version, but hoping it goes on sale eventually. I did eventually get that Stinger driver so...

Looks like it will probably be $100US (possibly more) in price. Obviously take that with a grain of salt until official confirmation.
Wouldn't that make it as much as the VAMP? That seems... like a lot. And the Claw was only $56. Like, $60-$70 seems reasonabl-ish, but $100? That will slow me down on that purchase.

Okay. Destro and the Despoiler look great, and I actually really like the antique pistol. It fits with the showy, ceremonial thing he's got going on. Will get him for sure.

Wild Bill - I was struggling to see the difference between this and the Haslab but thanks for the reminder. Hmmm, really not sure which I prefer actually.

Techno techno techno Viper - happy with the existing one, I think the colours are nicer than this Retro version.

Grunt - eh, I did end up picking up a Retro Stalker from a bargain bin in the end but don't feel the need to do have either Rock N Roll or this Grunt, the first Classified versions are perfectly fine for my needs. Someone mentioned an issue with Grunt's neck? What was that then, can't say I ever noticed...

Yeah it is tough, however it is just speculation for now and it could be closer to the CLAW for pricing. I mean I would prefer it that way, or at most similar to the SMS/MMS in pricing. $100US is definitely going to be a stretch if accurate.

The CLAW was only actually put up for sale what? Last year? But it was at least the year before that it was revealed. So it probably fell under older pricing structures. Now that things have changed for the worse, combined with the differences in how much goes into each release on the production side, it is probably a little more reasonable to Hasbro to get closer to $100US.

Yeah, it won't floor me if it's $100, that just seems like a whole lot relative to the other stuff they've given us for that price point. I mean the Cobra SNAKE wasn't even $80. We'll see what the final total is. I'd probably consider it even at that price, but I'd have to hold my nose a bit.

Yeah that is why I am hoping it is more speculation than anything else. However it seems like from what Toytubers and others have been posting speculating, the Despoiler may be much bigger than what I am picturing in my head. Similar to the CLAW where I kind of got how big it would be, but didn't really until I had it in hand.

The SNAKE didn't come with a figure though. Which I found a bit strange at the time. Don't get me wrong I was glad to pay less than $100 for the SNAKE. However, again, getting it in hand I was able to fully appreciate its size and I don't think $100 for it with a figure would have been a big issue for the community. It was also a bit strange because, so far, it is the only "vehicle" that was released without a figure included.

In any case I am going to remain hopeful that Destro and the Despoiler remains below $100US.

My assumption is bigger than Serpentor's chariot and smaller than the Vamp. I feel like the Snake is probably comparable in terms of overall part counts and such. We'll see, but it definitely looks rad.

The only reason I can think of is they maybe can't easily repaint it like they can the other vehicles that have been released.

Believe it or no, I was just testing to see how it would look, then went to bed thinking I'd fix the original image this morning, not realizing I apparently changed it.
