G.I. Joe Classified - News & Updates

Not *the* best timing for a patriotic-celebration figure, but this was leaked off Pulse UK:

Maybe a second Walmart Collector Con exclusive?

It looks okay and shares some similarities with the version Super7 revealed for their ReAction+ line. Since I'm a near completionist with Classified I'm probably going to be getting this figure.

Wow. If I were Hasbro I would have torpedoed the boat carrying that run of figures, destroyed all evidence we'd ever designed it, and let it rot at the bottom of the ocean until doomsday.

Patriotism isn’t really my thing under any circumstances, but I do recognize that it’s a *huge* bummer that even attempting to celebrate the U.S.’s 250th can’t help but be read as bad taste under the current circumstances.

But yeah I’ll probably buy it and use it as an “urban ops commander” Duke.

• Suggested Retail Price: $27.99

The Night-Creeper (D.I.R.E. Tech) figure includes 8 accessories: an alternate head, two knives, a crossbow, crossbow bolt, backpack, and two D.I.R.E. projection swords.

Within the Cobra ranks, Night-Creepers combine stealth training with Cobra’s exploration into arcane mysticism. Their mastery allows them to manipulate D.I.R.E. (Dread-Inducing Responsive Energy) Tech, enabling them to create mental and physical projections without the need for a containment pack.

The figure comes packaged in a window-box display featuring the accessory loadout, character File Card Icons, original artwork, and digital renders.

Fans can also look for additional figures in the G.I. Joe Classified Series to expand their rosters of heroic G.I. Joe operatives and Cobra villains. (Each sold separately. Subject to availability.)

DIRE-Creeper is SO DAMN COOL.

I love how inhuman they are. These will definitely be actual supernatural entities in my canon, and they will look great en masse with mostly DIRE-Viper serpent heads but the Cthulhu-beast head rules all.

Btw the Cthulhu head looks AMAZING on the Ghost-Viper, especially with the demon hands. And I realized that the demon hands are actually sculpted to work with the arm gauntlets, not against them. The hands look much better with gauntlets on.

Hasbro had to decide whether to make 250th product or not probably before they knew hiw bad Trump 2.0 would be and certainly long before this week's war.

Damien, that's only gonna be like three weeks.
Don't threaten me with a good time.

Even if you assume the outside timeline of 1 year - that means this figure was designed in around April of 2025. Even in April of 2025 things were pretty shitty in America and America was already certainly being BURIED on the world stage. Even if the figure had come -out- in April of last year it would have been in bad taste, at best.

This figure should have been kiboshed before it went into production at the factory - probably around January/February. Or, smarter play, just re-deco'd. But THIS figure released in THIS moment is pretty indefensible, in my opinion.
