No problem - it was funny that I happened to have Leatherneck right there on my desk since I was trying to get a stray paint spot off his nose and was like: I can literally tell ya right now, they're practically standing next to each other.

I just opened Wet-Suit, within 5 minutes of the Amazon driver dropping him off on my porch. It is cold here, so I might need to let him warm up, but he has unusually tight shoulders. They actually squeak. Usually I run into some hip or waist tightness, but those were about perfect.

My Wetsuit was particularly tight also, knees and shoulders. (I mostly responded because I needed to type the phrase "My wetsuit was particularly tight.") Bit of hot water helped though.

Oddly in contrast, though, Sci-Fi's wrist hinges and Mainframe's elbows were very loose. Not so much to ruin the figure, just strange.

@docsilence Knees were tight on mine as well and waiting for room temps didn't help. Gearing him up would be totally appropriate if I go the warm bath route.

Received Wetsuit via Amazon today, with another from Pulse expected in the next couple days.

The gear is cool, but I wish there was a place to stow his flippers when he’s not wearing them. I also wish he could better grip the motor wings like the original ARAH could. I like that it can plug into the bottom of the backpack, but wish the same for the flippers. The helmet is tight to get on and off. I pulled his head off more easily than getting the helmet off the head. Also kinda wish there was a place for his helmet when he’s not wearing it, but that feels like a taller order. He is definitely taller than Leatherneck, and does slightly resemble Oscar Isaac. I like his colors, somewhat muted from the original, like Sci-Fi. Always loved his dynamic with Leatherneck. He’s a great addition to the shelf.

I just did a quick comparison - Leatherneck is just SLIGHTLY shorter than Wetsuit. Like if these were real guys, Leatherneck is 5'11 and Wetsuit is 6ft but his luscious locks make him look slightly taller.

Swap the head/neck pegs of Dusty and Leatherneck!! It’s helps Dusty’s giraffe neck AND gives some welcome extra height to Leatherneck while solving his turtle-neck somewhat.

I can push the the tank peg into his back about half way with this set up, but it stays reasonably secure.

Swap the head/neck pegs of Dusty and Leatherneck!! It’s helps Dusty’s giraffe neck AND gives some welcome extra height to Leatherneck while solving his turtle-neck somewhat.

How easy is the swap? I actually find Leatherneck's turtle-neck thing kind of amusing because it looks like he's kinda pouting. He's just so dour it makes me laugh, in a good way.

Reasonably easy. Needlenose pliers and heat tend to work for me. But getting the pegs out of the necks can be a struggle.

I may hold off as good of an idea as this is, since I spent the last week trying to do peg/neck swaps and only succeeding on half of them. (Successes were Classified, but my gawd it was a struggle.)

I like Wetsuit's "wetsuit" and web gear. However the helmet keeps rising up on mine, it's not as snug a the Eels (which will almost never come off again). I know he's supposedly some sort of Navy SEAL, but this outfit makes me think basically underwater welding, search and rescue or some sort of treasure diving, the helmet seems very utilitarian. The downside of this figure, like the Eels, is that he comes with almost no weapons. The pistol doesn't fit in his hand well in my experience, and I never have them just armed with a knife. A rifle or submachine gun should be standard on every figure, none of this "well you get to fight with a spear gun B.S." like the Eels. You're really gonna' emerge from the depths to take over an oil rig with spear guns?

The motored submersible is alright, not really wow-ed by anything on him. I like the color scheme and that's about it. I've yet to decide if the head sculpt looks more like Steve-O from JackAss / WildBoyz or Adam Corolla.

Yeah, I like a LOT about Wetsuit but his is the first helmet that feels too big for the figure in this line. Everyone else's helmet has either been a perfect fit or even too tight, but his doesn't want to stay put.

Wait so is this the Classified thread to just talk about toys now? Because I have Wet Suit opinions. Like that his hands are weirdly shaped and small and don't fit his gear. I was really excited for this release and am not sure how I feel about him. One thing I know I dislike is when the upper knee joint is so visible in the lower thigh as it is on him. I don't know how they could have improved upon that spot but still. The helmet moving around sucks for sure.

--REDACTED RANT-- was having issues getting the propulsion device in his hand but having the hands approach from the top side, instead of treating the grips like pistol grips, is working better. I still don't like that it takes me about a minute just to get each hand holding it properly.

I do like this updated teal on him though, it's less "dentist green". But he still looks like an undersea construction worker. And they did a great job designing this vest to look cool, tight, and not get in the way of ab crunch at all. When he's all kitted-out and on a flight stand looking like he's zoomin' around underwater, he does look nice. Even if his scuba device now has a bunch of damaged plastic from my nails trying to get his hands on there.

I'm comparing his hands to the average horizontal-hinged gloveless Classified hand and the fingers are shorter and the entire hand lack detail. I wonder if the molds are degrading or if it's just a QC issue?

d_amazing has a video on Big Lob up. He's a tall MOFO. He looks to be an all new sculpt, apart from the hand holding the basket ball, which looks to be from Starting Lineup.
