G.I. Joe Classified Beamish-Style Weekend Vehicle Poll - #42 - Thunderclap

All these years and I'm still trying to figure out the tactical benefit from having a catapult on a vehicle covered with laser cannons.
Also... no. I don't even hate the vehicle at all. It's just a combination of the size in Classified with its best use being as a tank/troop carrier and therefore hiding most of the figures that should be displayed with it.

There's no way half of the things I upvote would fit in my home, but I love it. How in the blue hell do they fit 17 people in that thing? Are they stacked like cord wood?!?
Cobra also desperately wants to win more records in the Guineas Book or World Records. They already own the record for the “Most Retreats”..
“More! Cram more bodiesss in that vehicle!”

I love that I'd call this a CONSERVATIVE design by Cobra engineers. I don't love this vehicle in particular, though - it's just big enough I'd rather save the shelf-space for something I love more, but I don't hate it. It's just silly.

I missed the previous vote, but yes to the Ninja Raider Pile Driver! I had that one and the Cobra version. Of course they are totally wacky designs, but they were fun vehicles. And the pilot figures had vibrant colors.

I will vote for this moronic, improbable thing that spins while it sucks.

I used to stack Joes in the Whale
That was my nickname in college.

Day 42 - Thunderclap (RAH) (2/20/26)

It's Friday, which means time for another vehicle! The big one from 1989, Thunderclap!

Okay, unlimited space? that would be fun as a centerpiece/playset. No way I'd buy it right now given space limitations, but as far as goofball designs go I could have fun with that.
