I tend to forget what a decent design NF Snake Eyes is, if they released them together and the bike was black and blue to match I don't suppose I'd be too offended.

Day 39 - Cycle Armor (POC) (2/13/26)

Coming toward the end of Ninja Week with the Cycle Armor. It's weird, but kinda cool. And they did something like this in the last Transformers movie that also seemed to be a GI Joe... prequel? I dunno.

Coming toward the end of Ninja Week with the Cycle Armor. It's weird, but kinda cool. And they did something like this in the last Transformers movie that also seemed to be a GI Joe... prequel? I dunno.

I still have this toy and it is.......not good.

I appreciate the attempt, but the execution was not good. I think it could be interesting to see what they can do with this idea at 6" scale and 10(?) years more tech/design upgrades in the industry.

Something like this makes me want a GIJoe: The Next Generation. Like a Joe team 50 years later, that way the ultra wild sci-fi stuff (which I dig a lot of) has more breathing room. The motorcycle (again ninjas and motorcycles), is straight out of future that 1984 Japan thought we would have.

Designed by Matt Tracker, this transforming cycle becomes a suit of almost completely immobile armor.
Ugh. Hate the transforming armor option. I do however like the motorcycle as just a motorcycle. If they ditched the overly complicated, transformative gimmick, and released it as another Joe cycle, then yes. I’m not, however, paying, what would likely be an increased price, for a toy gimmick that’s just.. well bad.
When I want transforming cycle armor I’ll go to Macross. This version would be hard pass.
