G.I. Joe Classified Beamish-Style Weekend Vehicle Poll - #38 - Ninja Lightning

When I think of Cobra vehicles, this is what I think of. I like how on the box art, it looks like they just grabbed whoever was standing in the Arbco Coffee line and said "Here, get behind a gun, it's go time".

This looks like something they threw together out of modular parts (like the old Micronauts vehicles) and someone said “Let’s do that, practicality he damned”. This would be a pass for me.

As opposed to all the toys you buy only after long and serious consideration.
I divide my bad buying habits between "look I was never not going to buy this" (any Snake Eyes figure) versus "I bought it because I was bored and wanted new toys" (Nunchuk). One is instinctual, the other impulsive. (Edit: Also Spider-Man vs. Deadpool, Animation vs. Gamerverse Star Wars stuff, Barbarians vs. Undead for mythic legions...)

Where does "aw, that actually looks really cool...." fit into that philosophy?

Probably more the latter. Any time I I give up to my baser impulses vs. just knowing from the minute I see the figure I'm going to buy it.

Big yes for a Stun. Just hope they address the flags and their weakness if they ever get around to making it in Classified.

I'm of two minds on this. Part of me- the part that enjoys the frosted side, you might say- wants this thing released as is, a rolling nightmare with the power to crash into TWO trees, not just one. Yet there is also a part that says, if they stuck a wheel up front that could also split in two, I would not be super devastated. It is a boring shredded wheat person who says this, but this person does understand that in Classified scale this thing will be a chonk and some extra reinforcement might be called for.

Yes to Despoiler and Iron Grenadiers Destro!

Yes to the Firebat! That would actually work decently well at 1/12 scale.

And yes to the Stun! It’s a vehicle that I always wanted but never got. It had a ton of screen time on the show, too. Need Motor Viper to go with it.
