Frazetta Girls ICON figures

I was able to get the "deluxe" edition from the overseas con ordered from 5K Toys. I prefer the more 'barbarian' sword that comes with over the curved scimitar type sword the standard one has, so it works for me.

While I was hoping for someone like Boss Fight to get John Carter, Frazetta Girls has to be the best alternative to that. Not going to love the price, but it’ll be worth it for the detail alone, and the inevitable Dejah Thoris.

Ah, hell, you just sold me on Carter. I've tried to be selective with these figures but I'll regret not having John when they do inevitably do Dejah, you're right.

I am ... kind of.. a John Carter fan (it's complicated). I might be interested in a figure of him, but I'm not really sure. I really wanted one in the Hero HACKS 4" line back when I collected BFS figures. But that was when they were like 25 dollars US. I don't know how I feel yet about a John Carter that's in the 100 USD range.

I only read the Dejah books from Dynamite, but I might as well cop him since Eamon already hinted at her coming.

Nekron announced, too.

I've been wanting a decent John Carter figure forever, so I'll definitely be picking him up. Hopefully, Dejah Thoris and Tars Tarkas aren't far behind.

Looking forward to everyone's pictures of the ICONS Conan. I ultimately didn't pull the trigger on this one, but I've been extremely tempted. I've ultimately decided to hold out for the Heroic Signatures Conan figure, as it's just a bit more my mind's eye vision of Conan. Also, having the Frazetta look makes the ICONS a bit less necessary, even though the ICONS is more to scale with my other fantasy figures.

I POed two Conans from Frazetta, but I might get the Heroic Sig one as well, especially since Eamon said the following:
Yes, this is same height and is semi compatible with the Frazetta Girls Conan (currently shipping) in that you can swap out their gear and clothing. If this one does well, there will be other characters from the Hyborean Age as well as the other great characters created by Robert E Howard.

Not to derail the convo away from Frazetta (I'm looking forward to getting Conan and actually just added myself to the waitlist for the northman figure I skipped cos... regrets) but anyone have a place to best look at Heroic Sig's action figure news? I went to their main landing page and it's... INTENSE but information-poor and I saw they work with one of my favorite creepy TTRPG IPs, Kult, and I'm always curious what's going on with Mutant year Zero, so I want to delve more into the work they're doing. But that site, my god, the flashy graphics and splashes making it difficult to navigate around or read anything... Peak form over function.

Got Conan today. Honestly forgot I ordered him and was shocked when the Shop app told me it was arriving today. Top notch sculpting with the slight exception that he has scars on him back and on a tricep, but nothing on the front of him. Guess he's been fighting a bunch of backstabbers.

He is a bit darker than I expected, but since he travels all the time and they didn't have sunblock back then, it makes sense. His shield straps seem to short to fit over his forarms. Gonna have to heat them up and stretch them I think. His helmet hair is actually removable which is really cool if you want him holding it instead of wearing it. I only see 1 hook for his sword sheath and it seems like there should be 2. Both it and the knife sheath have great paint.

I think I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10. It's really good, but there could be some improvements.

Figured out both straps for the shied don't go on the forarm. One on there and the other in a hand. The other side of the sheath chain hooks to the loose belt. It's hard to get on, but it will go on with force.

I ordered Conan straight from Frazetta Girls but have had no movement. I hope I don’t wind up with another situation like I did with their Vampirella, for whom I had to raise a stink on social media before they finally shipped mine after several months waiting.
