Four Horsemen X Mr. Beast Lab

In defense of the Horsemen on that one; I think that's just everything in toy collecting.

Don't know if any company is out there making perfect product every time. And, increasingly, most of us are way more aware of the price tag and therefore have higher expectations and less ability to accept faults. I LOVE Marvel Legends, but they've repeatedly disappointed me for some of my absolute favorite characters/costumes. I love G.I. Joe and Classified specifically, but they've made some figures I really wanted that turned out a bit 'meh' due to articulation limitations or issues they had earlier on with sticky hip joints, or just slight design decisions I didn't like.
I have a constant love/hate relationship going with Star Wars Black Series where I get super hyped and then the figure shows up and I'm just kinda like.. yeah... it's another SWB figure where they clearly didn't feel like they needed to try very hard. But I get just as excited next time.

My overly wordy (as always) way of saying that I think what you're experiencing is just normal.
I actually figured out this time why I get angrier with Legions than with other lines - it's the wait. A screw up on a Hasbro or Mattel figure announced six months ago is irritating; something I paid for two or three years before just makes the exact same TYPE of disappointment sting more. It's just an amplified version of the standard annoyance.

I totally get that. You pay a lot, you wait a long time, you definitely amp it up in your head a lot more. That disappointment is going to hit different for sure.

I have NO idea whatsoever what "Mr. Beast" is. My kids are grown, and until I opened this thread I'd never heard of him/it. What I DO know is that figure looks dumber than dog shit, and I'm happy this isn't something I need to put on my radar.
