Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

Just got Address Lock-In notification for the Rising Sons wave from 4H. I rarely get amped about a wave from them anymore because there's so much time for the excitement to wear off between buying and shipping, but I really am super psyched to get this set. Having it arrive during an actual winter is even better.
By the time you actually recieve it, I would wager winter will be mostly over (depending on where you live of course.)

Honestly, if they ship it some time in the next four weeks, New England is feeling like this is gonna be one of those MISERABLE, interminable winters, unfortunately.

I'm excited for my pre-ordered Skapular and blue scorpion guy to finally arrive after 2 years and some months, but I'm also a big pop and swap guy so I want to pick up half the pieces that make up the male dwarf, half of Broddr's pieces, and Atilla's belt and forearms. I can probably grab Atilla's things for less than the figure at retail, but I might save money just buying Broddr and the male dwarf as whole figures.

Y'know, as excited as I am to get this wave, that "after two years and some months" was a pretty funny kick in the gut. I was laughing even as I was going "holy hell it really has been more than two effin' years..."

We get 6-7 new figures every time we elect/re-elect our congressman. That's partly why my interest has been dulled for 4H stuff on the whole. At some point you're going to have collectors in the future who may preorder stuff and the items are going to have to be listed in their will.

"And to my brother-in-law I leave my pending Mythic Legions preorders, please enjoy them as I was not able to. I leave you now to join the skeletal legion I loved so much."

Make sure you make your last wishes known boys and girls. You don't want your Legions going through probate court!

Welp, now I'm adding this to my list of things to do if I die before my partner. I already put instructions on how to unload my collection easiest (including friends to help her sell stuff). So now i need to say "oh and if you get a box from New Jersey..."

What else is the forum here for, if not to remind you of your impending death and how you're sticking your loved ones with your legion of plastic men?

I literally have instructions in my will. "Call C. to help you unload the Marvel and Star Wars stuff. Let him take what he feels is fair for his help. Call J. to help with the fantasy bullshit, he'll know what's trash and what's valuable. Please ignore the number of sexy lady action figures. That's just comic book stuff, not an undisclosed fetish, I swear."

4H just posted that Rising Sons has landed and they're starting shipping. Back on being hyped for this set (simultaneously regretting spending the money on the all-in but hoping they do their usual thing of shipping the all-in boxes first to clear space).
