The price differential on BBTS makes me wish I'd grabbed the mermaid just to be safe direct but I mean... paying this much two-plus years in advance is ridiculous. I think if they end up doing an in-stock sale or BBTS ends up doing their occasional mark down I'd consider the rest of the wave.

I keep joking that I won't see the dragon before I'm 50 but there is something to said about the fading hype following a long wait. The Rising Sons wave had a chokehold on me when they premiered it and now I'm kinda wishing I only got about half of what I ordered. (Not un-excited to get it, just would've been more amped if the turnaround was faster.)
 
I definitely am interested in the Crab, Walrus and Ray figures, but content at this point to pay more sometime in 2027 when I am sure I will still want them than commit to preorders with up front payment.
 
I pre-ordered the big ole crab, harpoon guy, fish lady and the walrus from their store to save around $50 and some change. I'm starting to get real tired of BBTS inflated prices.

Those are the MSRP prices the horsemen set for all retailers. Unlike other lines, this is one BBTS doesn’t mark up. That’s part of their incentive to get us to order directly through them and pay upfront.

Oh, I didn't know that. It worked for me then. That's quite a difference in some of those individual prices.
 
And eventually if the inventory doesn't sell (they had a few waves that didn't move as much stock) they let BBTS sell at the same price 4H lists them on their own site. As cool as that crab is I'm going to hope he ends up as an in-stock sale later. I just reorganized my "trolls and horses" shelf from Mythic Legions and once that effin' bear shows up with the next incoming wave I think I'll be close to capacity. (I think I have one more troll than I really need, tbf.)

Yeah $42 to $55 is quite a jump. If you’re just getting a single figure, the savings might be negligible with the calculated shipping rates they use on preorders. If you’re buying multiple items, it can be quite a savings. I think the all in basically gave the crab guy and accessory set away for free.

And yeah, it doesn’t seem to happen often but if figures start lingering they’ll put them up at the preorder price rather than retail pricing and let their retailers do the same. Lots of the necro and all stars wave have already sold out so the newer ones might not linger as much as some of the older waves. The bear is iffy as the horses don’t seem to sell great but he’s something all new and that might make him more popular than another horse.
 
Yeah, I suspect incoming wave won't linger - strong cast of characters. a lot of the last few waves seem to have lingered a bit but I think this one, and the one coming up with the Gob-Hollow two pack and shadow centaur will NOT linger (that wave seems mostly sold out already too).

I generally just preorder anyone I know I'll have regrets not owning. I may regret not having the crab but I can justify skipping just based on space. I skipped the mermaid and kinda regret it but I've had such bad experiences with their swappable "halves" (when the torso and legs are swappable) that I have some trust issues there. I always either get figures who won't pop apart or who fall apart too easily when it comes to that mid-body ball joint.
 
Fury Toys Azure Lion fits in perfectly with the 4H Monkey King, Anubiis & Bastet. Unless you don't like mixing religions.

I'm hoping they put that revenant up for sale again somewhere. I don't even need all the bells and whistles, just want the beat-down looking armor and human head in the helmet.

I think the basic versions of Warrior/Revenant and Sir Valgard are still going to be available at some point. I just really wanted the exclusive heads (and legs for Valgard).

I'd heard the same. Getting impatient because I foolishly overspent on the Nymph and I want the pair (but I wanted the alt heads on her more than I want the ones for him).

They had a softcover sample at the intern for a day at LegionsCon. I think they said there were just a few corrections that needed to be made but it was otherwise done and ready to go to the printer. I think Q1 is the new ETA so we’ll probably hear more anytime now as they weren’t sure if the next wave of figures or the book would ship first they were so close together in timing.
