Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

What wave does this align to? They usually do two waves a year, don't they? Haven't we had one already? or maybe I'm misremembering things.
Beyithirr was the spring campaign and it does seem like the reveal schedule is a little different this year, although the only reveal that's fairly consistent is the big wave in November. We haven't seen a new Cosmic wave revealed yet and OxKrewe 2 was August of '24. Update: Looks like it was a year between OxKrewe 1 and OxKrewe 2 (8/23 and 8/24) so maybe August is now the month for Cosmic revelations?

The clues in that Instagram post make me think we're in for a fun new monster and a party of adventurers. I know it's very unlikely, but I would love some Mountains of Madness-style horrors from beyond.

Very excited for the reveals. It sounds like a DnD wave, I can imagine each member of the party will be a specialist, which would be fun. I’m thinking polar bear, too, with the extra head being some sort of mutation or monster head, so you can have a normie bear if you so choose.

I keep forgetting I ordered a @$&!ing dragon. Then I see his name dropped and I get super excited for him, and the fact that he’s thankfully already paid off. Future Hemlock is going to love Past Hemlock.

I also keep forgetting about the dragon. Honestly, I have to keep telling myself it'll be a solid three years before we see him. That's a future me problem.

This does sound like a DnD weave. And really I think that's an untapped theme for them - they really could do combos of wizard/rogue/fighter/cleric every so often and make a lot of people happy, maybe even draw in some new buyers.

They could definitely get me. I've had to cherry-pick three different lines from two different companies to get a fairly standard 7" D&D party.
I cobble parties together for my Legions shelf all the time but they never quite feel precise. Like "I guess this guy could stand in for the cleric or rogue, close enough" or not having enough obvious wizardy types. If they started doing homages to classes they haven't covered yet I'd be psyched.

I love how 4H actually understand adults have jobs and schedule their reveals in the evening, though I'll be running a D&D game tonight and won't be able to watch live.

Some really really good reveals, not just for this wave, but for what it implies down the road. More articulation, new build sizes. Very excited for gnome scale figures, as well as for more RPG gear. Finally, a fire pit! Clever to design it to fit over a LED votive. Also going to need the mug set for everyone, so might as well get the inn set. More backpacks, please! Burris & Bylur are definite buys.

Polar bear looks great, but a little disappointed they didn’t go the extra mile to sculpt a separate polar bear roaring head, and instead just repainted the grizzly. Not the end of the world, but he’s worth having his own complete identity. He’s a maybe.

Will pickup the werewolf if my wife wants him. Will probably skip the orc. On the fence with Igraine and Halvard. Igraine’s headsculpt looks great on one hand, but there’s something about the ML females that look a little doll like, especially recently. Need to think on it more. Not that into Halvard’s Vikings Season 1 head. But I like his tunic and the rest of his kit.

Yeah, a lot of good stuff but I'm surprised by how little I'm drawn to the orc. I should be all over Tundra Orcs but I'm more intrigued by the 3.0 body than the actual look of him. I think he could've used an unmasked head.

Feel the same about Igraine and Halvard and their main heads, not a fan of either — and I can't stand that second Halvard head. He is great from the neck down, though. The polar bear fur sculpting still looks off and I think I only need one bear in my life anyway.

Love everything else about the wave, particularly the little guys and the werewolf. Will definitely grab the keg set.

Also, I feel like Burris is the third Infinite Legions figure with that very Plunderling looking extra head. It's awesome.

FFS, this line is exactly what I'm into. I can't remember the last time I saw a wave and thought "oh no, I want all in" instead of "who can I skip." Those gnome sized characters are a DELIGHT. I think I'll regret not getting the polar bear even though I don't necessarily NEED him.

Igraine's face is a little doll-like, it's odd, but we get so few new female face sculpts I gotta get it.

Okay, doing some stream of conscious analyzing... I could probably skip the frost orc and bear to save some money. The heroes, werewolf, and accessory pack are no-brainers for me though, I absolutely love those. If the frost orc had an unmasked head he'd be a must-have but I'm kind of tired of them hiding so many orc faces behind half-helms.

Aiming at the werewolf and the fox guy. Unless I talk myself out of them like I did the last wave, by the time pre-orders close.

Genuinely not raining on any parades.

Just curious where their shipping vs prior release dates is right now, and what the "real" expected date would be on these.
