I'm an old Fwoosh guy, dunno if you was/were there by the time my posting slowed down. For what it's worth, the finger was re-attached. I just have shared tendons between fingers on that hand now

Looking at this thread, it seems it's possible to add a custom field and have it displayed below usernames on posts. https://xenforo.com/community/threads/gender-and-pronouns-addon.186620/post-1470292

I highly encourage it, personally. Some members I see frequently are people who could find comfort from this sort of thing, and most are at least are open-minded enough to see no problem with it. So long as it's optional!
