Fix a Figure

Love the options in this thread so far. Couple to add:
  • The upcoming Mystique is on an old body, right? I feel like just popping her onto the new Warbird buck would fix a LOT. (I'll take this one back if she's actually going to be on a modern buck.)
  • Stick Iceman on Crystar's body with some different forearms/hands/feet? I'm... okay with the Iceman I have but he could be so much better.
  • ARTICULATED SPIDER-HAM
I'd rebuy Punk Storm with better articulation and replacing those gummy gummy legs.
Full-redos of Beta Ray Bill and Squirrel Girl feel like easy home runs.

Silvermane and High Evolutionary both need to be taller, and Radioactive Man needs to be wider. Oh, and I guess Frankenstein's Monster needs to be taller, and paler, and the Simon Garth Zombie needs to be paler, and have his necklace.

I forgot about High Evolutionary... that's a figure where it's almost perfectly that classic look, sculpted from the ground up... and then they put an Annihilation style headsculpt and belt on it. I get why, make an "all-rounder" look for characters who may only ever got one figure. But two half-measures a foot apart don't make a full measure for me.

I'd love to see the Walgreens Fantastic Four set just redone with all the bells and whistles we've gotten in the 8 years since that set came out. Go pure Kirby with it and I'd be delighted.

Kirby FF is a really good idea. Loose costumes and classic headsculpts. They totally failed to capitalize on any merchandise wave for FF: First Steps.
High Evolutionary is definitely too small.

I cam here though to bring up white costume Iron Fist. I pulled him from the back of my "street" shelf to put on my Avengers shelf, which I'm re-doing, and I didn't realize he has the old ball joints connecting his hips to his legs. So unworkable to get him into any kind of pose.

White costume Iron Fist has low-key been my favorite "we need a re-do" for a while. Would would get behind that. Easy one, too, cos they could just use that latest Daredevil body with some bits and bobs.

Apologies for all my silent comments about the Super Adaptoid haters. I just opened mine, finally (I have an embarrassing backlog). A lot of folks complained about it and I thought they were being too harsh. Mine was out of the box less than 30 seconds before I thought, "This is a shit low-effort figure even for Hasbro". There's no fixing this figure. Keep the shield and the hammer, burn the rest. It needs a complete redo.

X-Man - I hated how he got the Bucky Cap body, it really killed the good silhouette of his jacket and arms to have those legs, and ultimately I think he deserved to have a leaner slim build like the Amazing Fantasy Spider-man. That and a more youthful face and longer hair and he’d be great but instead he was very phoned in.

Pyro - I would have preferred him on the slimmer Leader/Mister Fantastic body with specific boots sculpted as his are kinda unique.

Shirtless Iron Fist with the hand wraps needs an update on the Renew Your Vows body like his 2 pack with Cage.
