Figura Obscura

My shipment says it's going to get here today. Which is crazy fast for 4H. (I'm guessing it's Fedex overestimating their own speed.)
 
Mine hasn't even actually shipped yet but even having a label created this soon is rare for me with Four Horsemen shipments. I take what I can get.

I’ll never forget the first time I ordered from 4H, one of the Horsemen actually hand delivered my package because he lives in my town. Really cool guy, but I never remember his name.

My buddy Joe (used to post on Fwoosh as bluebat7 or something) now works for them. Started out as a warehouse guy, now he paints prototypes!

That hand delivery might be low-key the coolest action figure collector story I've ever heard. I think that's part of why folks stick with them through thick and thin - you know they're real people behind the line.
 
I’m a little bummed because I JUST put away the Egyptians and Monkey King. Maybe a week before the Ganesha announcement. Do I break them out again? Do I give Ganesha time to shine solo?

Mine's set to arrive next week on my birthday. Fingers crossed!
 
I got home from a speaking engagement today and Ganesha was on my front steps. Unbelievably fast turnaround time on this one.

You know the funny thing? I was teaching a fiction workshop today. That's literally what I was coming home from when I found the 4H box.

My Ganesha arrived on Tuesday. That's the fastest turnaround for a 4H order for me. Usually it's 2 weeks or more before the "in stock" item ships.
