Yeah, doing in the middle of an existing line is disgusting. If there's course correcting on a new venture sure. I can deal with the three Zelda people being bigger as their own thing. But that Fire Emblem move would be a deal breaker for me.

She has leg articulation, but it's just pegged into the skirt, so it's mostly worthless. Hard plastic.

But I've always wanted a Zelda and this is an art style I adore. I think she can cop some attitude here even with the lower half being a trophy base.

Byleth is the first figma I’ve preordered in ages. How badly out of scale is she?
 
Bleh. Just canceled Solid Snake who's supposed to hit Amiami this month. Still no movement on packages coming out of Japan. Amiami says they'll hold onto it until something is resolved, but I don't want to pay for something to wait until God knows when.
 
I recommend it. My friend has one, and it's awesome to fidget with. Great presence and detailing.

I scored Zero at a toy show for cheap, and my goal has always been to get a Prime suit to do the unhelmeted look. That's the chance for me.
 
I'm still waiting on amiami to ship my Zelda.

I know it's going to take a while to get here based on their notes, but the least they could do is get it moving.

I'm imagining that it's been in limbo ever since de minimis ended and Amiami stopped shipping to the US. They just recently started again but they've got a glut of old orders to get out under their new system.
 
Snake's in stock at Amiami. Placed an order for him. It'll be the first order I've gotten from them since they started shipping to the US again with their prepaid tariff services. So we'll see how it goes. Folks on Reddit seem to not have a terrible time with it besides that Amiami is just way over inundated with orders and it might take a bit to actually ship out.

Mostly took the experiment because I wanted to order these guys. Can't really find them from a US seller and they're super cheap on Amiami. Should look good with the Persona Figmas.

 
Got my payment request from Amiami after about 6 days (which seems to be normal for them now).

It was 6500¥ for ECMS shipping, about $40. So not awful. Oddly the next option was 7900¥ but would be slower. Like 1-2 months estimate versus 2-4 weeks for ECMS. Then they still offered DHL, which has jumped to 7800¥ or about $50 when a year ago it would've been about $30. PLUS DHL will ask for tariffs prior to delivery. The earlier two options have all fees paid ahead of time.

Guess we'll see when it actually gets into the shippers hands and makes it to Ohio. Still a little cheaper than using American retailers. It was like $120 after shipping, then I went ahead and used all my Amiami points to knock it down $13.
 
Bummed out to hear Zelda doesn't have much articulation in her legs, but I'm in a similar boat - just always wanted a really nice Zelda figure and she looks great. Should be processing from BBTS any day now, got arriving soon notice the other day.
 
She's got full range, it's just the plastic traffic cone is in the way.

You can disassemble it, but a soft solution would still be awkward the way the hips and corset work.

But it's also Zelda in that outfit, so she does her job. I ended up flipping mine.
