Deadpool and Wolverine Legends.

Blade is pre-sold out on BBTS. Glad I preordered already.

The legs do look a little long. My old Toy Biz Blade had his ball hips basically disintegrate, so hes broken lol. So I need a new one anyway.

The eyes on Blade look like they’re printed in the wrong space.. like too high or something? I’m ordering it, but it’s easily my least favorite of the wave.

Hopefully just the test shot they had.

I've noticed an increase in missed prints from Hasbro lately, though.
 
I'm looking a "deluxe" Deadpool and his spread of accessories, pretty nice spread but....isn't this the amount we get in a "maximum" release? What's the criteria for a "deluxe" and a "maximum"? Are these just interchangeable, fancy adjectives? Anyway, he looks nice. I used Hulk hands at my work this past week. We're probably never getting a Reynolds head at this point, correct? I have a nice 3rd party one but no real way to tell if it's comparable with this figure unless I drop the $40 or $50 to find out. The only movie DP I have is the one from the Negasonic two pack which remains a very nice figure, I'm just annoyed that they inexplicably glued his Desert Eagles into his holsters. This one is a "maybe".
 
I am thrilled to death with Cowboypool. I have zero intention of buying him, but the fact he exists gets us another step closer to Old Western characters I DO want like Rawhide Kid, Two-Gun Kid, etc. And if getting those parts on a movie Deadpool variant first is how they had to come to be, so be it.

I'd buy it if it had some new heads and wasn't just so much dismembered Logan parts. Sure it's one of the more memorable scenes in the movie, but so is his use of Nicepool as a human shield as well. If I buy it at all all it'd be on sale. Personally, I prefer the color of red used i the first 2 Deadpool films over the bright Christmassy red used in the third film.
 
So the new wave came in. I didn't grab Cowboy DP or the yellow battle damaged Logan, but I did get the other 4. Very nice set.

Laura is probably the star of the wave. Shes fantastic. I just wish she had like a gritting teeth or screaming head. And she can't do deep crouches. But all her stuff fits on nicely. I'm not worried about her shades falling off. And the claws are all solid even being removable. Excellent figure.

Brown suit Logan actually is my 2nd fave of the ones I got. He's just such a well done figure. Its a little odd he came with all the bits to go maskless, and they just didn't include the second head. Im guessing they kinda just said, "ehh, they have Logan heads." Not sure how hard it would've been to put one in there, considering they have the mold for it already, but ok.

Blade is nice but he has a few issues that annoy me. Some I may be able to fix, a couple I won't. The main one is his neck. It looks way too long. I'm not sure if I should try to shorten the neck, fit the ball peg farthur down, or drill out the heads deeper. He just looks like hes got giraffe neck to me. His weapons also look a little small. Not terribly, but enough to make me raise an eyebrow. Whether they actually are small or not, I unno, but they look it. And why does he have drop down hips? The one side can barely even use them. They would've been great for Laura, but she didn't get them. Blade did. His arms also look a tad skinny. I unno, I like him well enough, just seems like he has a few flaws that hold him back. His smirking head also looks...off? Weird? Odd. Not bad, just odd. And his shades don't wanna stay on. He also got 2 pair, but I don't notice a difference between them. More accessories for him I guess.

Cassandra is also kinda meh. Shes done as well as she probably could be. Her pants just look weird if they're not in the perfect spot because of the obvious folds everywhere. Her neck and head are one piece. And she comes with the alt head with fingers going through it, and it has a peg hole for other bodies to use it, I would guess, but the figure it comes with can't. Not a big deal because it shouldn't go on her anyway, just weird to include it when they've never done a figure of Mr. Paradox for it to go on. She also only has single elbows. Not a terrible figure, just a couple of questionable design choices.

The other 2 figures I will end up getting if they go on sale. But I'm not in a hurry for Cowboy DP and the battle damaged Wolvie wasn't as appealing to me as brown suit. If he becomes more difficult to find later I may cave and get him for retail if possible. But since its Logan, and we've had this specific suit done, just with sleeves and no damage, I think it'll probably hang around a bit.

Cowboy Deadpool does the least for me in the wave, but I saw someone on Reddit put a brown soft goods duster on him and it looked incredible. I wanna do the same, but for a one off variant? To get a jacket that would cost as much as the figure itself? Ehhh
 
What are the 3 silhouette figure teases i keep seeing from? Looks like 2 more Wolverines and another Deadpool...? Would like to see Gambit and Elektra find their way in before more versions of DP & W
 
I'm wondering if they'll do Lady DP since the comic one is coming out with a redo.

If a movie one was ever a thing, I think she was out as soon as the lawsuit happened.

No Elektra announcement today made me sad.

Has anyone pulled Cassandra's arms out to make a sleeveless version? Her head not looking up in this jacket is really starting to annoy me.
 
I don't know why the lawsuit would affect her character getting made, but I may be thinking of the wrong one. Nicepool is probably a no go though.
