DC x Sonic by Jakks Pacific

No chance I buy any of these. But why is there yet another fairly large company in the mix with DC product when the worldwide master license just went to Mattel? Makes me think things aren’t so cut and dried with all the other players currently in the game.
 
To be fair, I think Jakks has the Sonic license. I could see these just being the Sonic characters in DC outfits.
 
I finally started seeing these figures this week (Superman/Knuckles, Cyborg/Tails, Batman/Shadow). Are they Target exclusives?
