Okay, that's what I had thought. Two, it looks like. The Matt Reeves version and the James Gunn version.
Sounds like Batman II is still happening, but I guess one never knows.

They went back to HBO Max the other day. I point this out only because their incessant rebranding is hilarious.
UPDATED FRIDAY AM AFTER EXCLUSIVE: Warner Bros is seeing $22.5M all in for previews for James Gunn‘s Superman. Not only is that still the best previews YTD and a record for James Gunn, but it’s higher than the previews for last year’s Barbie ($22.3M, 3-day $162M) and ahead of all the previews for Matt Reeves’ The Batman ($21.6M, $134M opening in 2022).
“We don’t go to the movie theater to be lectured to and have someone throw their ideology on to us. I wonder if it will be successful.”
Don’t apologize! These creeps are the opposite, the DIRECT opposite, of what Superman stands for.I'm sorry, but God I can't take these fools anymore.
Well said, my friend. Well said.Don’t apologize! These creeps are the opposite, the DIRECT opposite, of what Superman stands for.
These are also the people who took the poster for the movie and photoshopped Trump's head onto Superman's body. They don't want any "message" unless it's their hateful one. Luckily, the box office seems to be proving her wrong, and I hope whatever complaining she has from here on out falls on deaf ears. I'm sure whenever the new Batman movie comes out, she'll have something to say about "growing up without the traditional parental figures" or "an older man grooming a younger man to dress up with him and fight crime". Always something with these fools.Kellyanne Conway, who's clearly a goddamn idiot as well as being a racist xenophobe, said:
Yes, you stupid bleach blonde moron, the movie will be extremely successful. At this level, industry projections have raised to $140M-$150M+ for the weekend.
I'm sorry, but God I can't take these fools anymore.
On the other hand, I really liked that Luthor's crew included Otis and who I can only assume is Dabney Donovan (not sure if he was named in the movie). Just fun nods to fans, and not meant to be anything bigger.
