DC Mezco One:12 Collective

There's definitely a lot of reasons not to like the company and how it does business — particularly when you have to order from them directly — but I've been very happy with every Mezco figure I've ever picked up.

Honestly, if this wasn't a wide release, I wouldn't even be thinking about it.
 
The TMNT set was crazy popular but I guess the problem now is it's also insanely expensive on the secondary market, so it's not going to be attracting many new collectors.

Their TMNT movie figures, whilst looking good, haven't quite hit the mark like NECA's did (though that could change before release) so haven't had the same impact.

Superman is sadly a miss IMO with the face sculpts. If they'd nailed the sculpts I think more people would be talking about it.

Happy to see it's a general release. I'm still deciding myself but I like what I see initially. If EE puts it up without a deposit, I'll probably preorder and take my time on a final decision.
 
Looking pretty nice. That Bale head seems more on point than a lot of their likenesses.
 
He looks good, but that InArt one is going to be really hard to beat.

Exactly. Looking at it now and I'm like, I've already got a great one. One with the full bomb apparatus under his coat. This has several other options, but not sure I need to spend the money on it.
 
They've upped the ante on the likenesses of the Bale and the Ledger likenesses. Joker looks pretty awesome.

Problem is, do you know how much I'm spending on Batman this week (IF all goes according to plan)? Too much.

EDIT: OH, he's not actually shipping until this time next year? Well then..............!
 
No deposit and free shipping over at Entertainment Earth. At the very least you can take your time to decide.

I'm pretty well sold, though. What Mezco showed today looks damn good.
 
I wasn't tempted by Batman, but I am by Joker. I just don't know if I want to commit to collecting Nolan-verse stuff when I've been perfectly fine not doing so up until now. I actually had the Hot Toys Dark Knight Batman for a few years and sold it because while I liked how it looks, I was terrified to move it because of the materials used so it just stood there. If I get Joker though, that means I need a Batman and I'd probably turn to InArt, but that ain't cheap. I much prefer the construction of that figure to what Mezco is likely to put out.
 
I'm fine just getting the Joker.

I have the first HT Bank Robber/cop disguise Joker, and NEVER got a Baleman to go with him. I'm fine getting the Mezco Joker by himself. I have a Baleman figure from the McFarlane Batman multipack that can do the job of representing those movies.
