I thought I'd start this Thread to cover all DC Properties in the MEZCO 5 Points line. Be it Batman 89, Batman 66, or Batman The Animated Series.

But I also wanted to talk about Wave 2 of Batman 89. Did you guys see them?

Batman with his cape out like wings, Joker from the scene in the museum where he dances to Prince, and Lawrence! And Lawrence has the Boombox!

Lawrence made me pull the trigger and order wave one from BBTS. I was already tempted because Bob comes with an alternate head to make a different goon, but Lawrence is advertised that way, too. Just hope I can find the goons sold separately at retail, as I'll need two of each. Didn't order the Batmobile, though, although I'm tempted. I'm going to wait and see how they look with my Kenner Dark Knight Collection version first.

Mime Joker, Vicki, and Bruce (all from the courthouse scene) seem like they would make a perfect Wave 3, wouldn't they?

Apparently, Lawrence will create two figures out of one, just like Bob the Goon also makes the Goon with the Katanas in the alley way. I'd say since Lawrence has such a big build, maybe the extra parts will allow you to make the big Joker Goon that Batman fights in the bell tower.

But I don't know that, just a guess. But it does state in the official image reveals that the Lawrence figure is a two in one figure.

I hope Wave 2 of the 1989 Batman figures goes up for pre order soon. I also hope Wave 1 finally comes in stock in August. I have the Batmobile and x2 of the 3 figures pre ordered so I can display each figure each way.

But I'm really considering getting all the Batman the Animated Series stuff as well. I've been watching YouTube video reviews of those figures, and they look great.

I did cave and by the 5 Points Batman: The Animated Series Wave 1 figures. I love these things. They are so small and fun, and the Batmobile just looks great with them. They have all kinds of fun accessories, and swapping parts on them like arms or heads is very easy. I will say, they are a bit pricey for what they are in size and articulation. But I am so happy to have them. They are so much fun and look so good that does help make the price worth it. To me anyways.

And I would absolutely recommend them. I can't wait for all the 1989 Keaton Batman 5 Points stuff. I have Wave 1 ordered with the Batmobile, and will pre order Wave 2 as soon as it goes up.

I'll definitely be getting Wave 2 of the Batman: The Animated Series stuff too.

Wave 2 of Batman 89 5 Point figures did go up for pre order today. Did anyone pre order them? They were definitely pricey. $10 more than the previous set of 3 from Wave 1, and again you really have to buy two sets of 3 to be able to enjoy both Joker Goons that can be made.

I did in fact order x2 sets. If it wasn't Keaton 89" Batman related, I probably would not have done that.

I'm hoping that, like the BTAS figures, these go on sale individually when they come in stock. I definitely want two of each goon from each wave, but don't want two of the Batmen/Jokers. I've seen the Mezco BTAS figures on sale at two different physical stores now, so I hope I at least have the same luck when these waves finally come out. Now that Super Powers is winding down, these might be my new retro obsession...
