C.O.P.S. 'n Crooks

I really like the look of Bulletproof in that review. Exactly what I was hoping for, and I love the alternate head with the eyes looking over the glasses. Mine is getting ready to ship from BBTS, so hopefully it's here in a few days.

I'm so happy to see the 2 figures teased on the packaging too. If they put them up, I'll get them for sure.

I wonder if one of Monster Force's shoulder holsters would fit on Vess under the coat. That seems more his style than the future machine gun, no matter what the vintage toy says.

So I have the figure in my pile of loot, but I will never, ever put that coat on him. I think it looks awful... but I like the idea of the shoulder holster.

The coat is a dilemma, because I think of it as a trademark look and it makes the idea of wearing only pant legs look less ridiculous in theory, but in-hand it's less than ideal. I think the sleeves could be longer. It's a little tight and restrictive across the shoulders and butterflies.

There's no way my Vess is going coatless.

Just to put it out there, I'd be open to some talented Etsy seamstress taking another stab at it.

I didn't realize how big the original figures were
The perspective is making the original look a little taller and wider. That one is my younger brother's figure. Over the years I reunited and organized our figures with their accessories.

While I could maybe see my way to putting a plastic trenchcoat on him, it would likely have to be sleeveless, which would probably look odd. But I can't wiith the cloth, it looks abysmal

As a soft goods fan, It's just a bad piece of craftsmanship.

Hopefully Rebel10 or some of the others come up with a nice substitution. I might even have one bookmarked from the Chinese companies on Amazon.

I got Bulletproof today from BBTS. First off, I need to say this. I am not a Mint in Box collector. I open my toys. But this packaging is amazing! BBTS crushed it, and my desire to have all of these MIB as they come out lined up on a shelf just became pretty massive.

So, I opened it carefully to keep the box nice. But I probably won't put B-Proof back in, so I may seriously get another to keep MIB.

Excellent execution on the packaging. Sleek, nostalgic, very 80's feeling, and fully captures the feel of the toy line.

A+ for packaging.

As far as the figure, I really like it a lot. I have never owned a BBTS in house made figure before. I don't buy Monster Force or any of that even though it looks awesome. This figure is very well made and fully captures the look and feel of the vintage toy and cartoon. I have a thought and vision of Bulletproof in my head, and this figure perfectly captures it.

It's fun to play with, easy to pose, great paint apps, and looks cool with other toy lines. And it makes me really want more of them.

All around, a great job by BBTS.
