I know he's not nice, but I have a hard time seeing Dracula in this grouping. Maybe because I can only think of classic Colan Drac, I see him more in the Monster silo. I haven't read any recent Marvel stories with Drac, but assumed the Strange Tales version was a "modern" take.

The Strange Tales one is definitely the "modern" Dracula. The Colan version is the classic Marvel villain version though, and an absolute necessity for my villains shelf!

I don't mean to deprive anyone of an official Colan Dracula, but he is just a litle paint, custom cape and head, and string away from 95% accuracy (Probably closer than legends would be) with readily available figures, unlike a majority of these other characters. Just in case you can't wait for.. who knows how long.

And if you don't fancy these bodies, there are about 10 marvel legends suited bodies to choose from, not to mention numerous other lines to pull from as well.

Yeah, it did strike me that Merlun could hav a lot of reuse for Dracula. It makes it that much more absurd that they haven’t given us a classic Dracula.

A true Colan Dracula is impossible. He wears a big flowing Inverness type cloak. It would never look good in a one to one interpretation. It’s awesome in the comics bc Colan and Palmer draw it mingling with the flowing mist. As if Dracula is both there and bleeding into the dark.

I’m both surprised M’Baku didn’t post higher, but also not surprised Jesse’s animosity toward the character has caused folks to basically write him off. Shame.

Agree but the character still came in seventh out of all the hundreds of comic villains in the Marvel Universe. That says to me, he's an in- demand figure. They have the MTO option now, so they don't have to worry about retail. It seems petty to me to let one guy's personal animosity dictate whether or not they do any particular character.

The demise of Marvel Select certainly influenced this vote. I was considering their Annihilus before they went under. I'm sure others pivoted like me to hoping for a new ML version.

Bummed about a classic M'Baku as well. Just fan channel him Hasbro. Day one purchase!

So many great classic villains left to make. Except for Exodus, I'd take everyone on this list. Heck, I'd probably even get Exodus if he was in a baf wave I liked.

This was a relatively tight vote with no one running away with it and only poor Baron Blood really trailing far behind. I think that really speaks to just how well a wave like on Bring on the Bad guys should sell with the right character selection. Of course that wasn't at all what happened last time with the Xemnu BAF wave that included the AIM Scientist, Arcade, Dormammu, Dr Doom, Lady Deathstrike, Hood and Red Skull though. Character selection matters. I still occassionally pick up another AIM Scientist, Aracade or Hood (mostly for kitbashing purposes) when I come across them for a few dollars each.

Diablo was the only one that I voted for that made the top four and he was the one that I most wishy-washy on, but like I said it was a relatively tight vote. I'd buy figures of most of these characters if they got made. Dracula and Moonstone are probably the only two that I wouldn't have much interest in.

I can't tell you how disappointed I was that MS Annihilus did not make it out to retail. I bought MS as a substitute for ML (i.e. Watcher, Mephisto, Titanium Man, Crimson Dynamo). They fit in nicely and fills in the holes in my Marvel figure collection.
