Boss Fight Studios 1/12 and EPIC HACKS

For the neck - I twisted the dumbbell peg around so it arcs the other way. It helps with neck alignment and makes her look less like she's jutting her head out. Also, it helps if you tilt her ribcage back a bit, so her spine makes an S. That way her neck angles upwards more instead of out.

One of the critiques for the figure is that it's easy to knock her into an unnatural pose. There was a bit of a learning curve for me posing her, but now it's pretty easy.

I bought a pair of green 1/12 scale tights off of Amazon and they work perfectly on her. Not a big chain bikini fan anyway, but it also helps keep her thigh straps in place. Wound up adding a white shirt, cloak, and a wooden flute; now I finally have my bard!

Hell yeah to that tights idea. I want to give her the leather and fur cloak (already have that) look from some runs.

I wish I could make my Barbarian. She's a gnome.

I'm getting the Legenderry one too barring the possible tariff charge on it. Depends on how much and when. But it has basically like green tights, something akin to what maybe a pirate would wear. I like that look too. Each for different reasons.
I also did turn the peg around and it helps the neck but doesn't get rid of it altogether. I did drill a little bit down into the neck though so the peg is a little farthur in and makes her head sit lower to help hide it.

Oh, man...that's an awesome idea (the tights and shirt combo). I'm never creative enough to think of this stuff on my own lol I swear when I was younger I was a creative machine, but in my 40's? Nah. Lost all of that at some point along the way. Awesome idea, well done!

I've found that the neck peg is less noticeable on the stern head (not the screaming, not the more neutral) because the hair covers it more. I also turned the peg so it arches back. I think mine just needs some kind of undergarment so she's not going commando. As ridiculous as this outfit is, there's gotta be SOME practicality involved.

I just sewed some underwear out of scrap tights. Modeled it on the pair that came with the third party Death Knight Not From Warcraft.

Yeah, I put a dot.of.glue to hold the loincloth i place after my wife walked in and saw the figure laying on my desk. It had fallen over and the loin cloth moved up around the rib cage so she was just flashing her smooth nether region up at the world.

I had planned on grabbing the Red Sonja screaming head off eBay to use on my Marvel Legends Siryn because there were a few of them but now I've procrastinated and there are none. Thinking about grabbing the whole figure and selling off the rest. I don't know who Red Sonja even is but that head corrects the two issues I had with Siryn. No screaming mouth and a more vibrant red hair color.

Finally opened my RS. Hooo-boy! This is a fiddly figure. Her hair is about to send me over the edge. Is there some kind of unspoken rule that long hair must force every character to look at their toes? Just one headsculpt with hair that doesn't make them look like they are ashamed to exist. Definitely more flop in the joints than I was hoping for. If anyone comes up with a solution for the bottoms riding up incessantly that isn't glue, please share.
Once more unto the breach, as I fight with this figure and try to enjoy it.

Definitely fiddly. Just like the BFS 1/12 skeletons. Their 1/18 stuff was fiddly as well, but I just chalked that up to the scale. Looks like it's a BFS characteristic. I didn't read any reviews before I got Red Sonja in. Her bare pelvic region took me by surprise. I was a bit off-put by Xesray's gladiator lady having nipples which tended to be be exposed when the figure was posed. Not a prudish response, I just don't need nipples on female figures and certainly don't need them popping out in poses. So this is along the same issues. Guess they could have just painted a g-string on her. I thought the loincloth with the red sash may work better, but I prefer the simpler one but with the extra belt over it. Fills out the area a bit without going overboard. Not in love with either shoulder option armor. The metal one rides up a bit and not in love with the other one's asymmetry.

I never thought I'd need or have two Red Sonjas in my collection. I've obviously long been aware of the character (saw the movie too when it came out in theaters), but I'm also admittedly not a huge fan of her. If only because I haven't read too many of her adventures. Odd that I now have two figures and neither one is all that great. I'm really hoping Hasbro and Marvel are able to work out things with Robert E Howard's estate, and we get a Conan and Red Sonja figures in Marvel Legends. At least a ML would be a more solid figure. I don't hate this BFS Red Sonja but it's just a bit dainty.

Sonja is owned by Luke Lieberman and his Red Sonja LLC, as I understood it from his wife's (?) socials. She does most of the marketing.

Is he part of that estate with how that deal worked?

Reminds me of Welsh Cat's customs on OG Fwoosh.
I don't remember their name, but there was a customizer on one of the FB Boss Fight groups that was, seemingly, ob-fucking-sessed with putting nipples on every female figure that BFS released. It was fuckin' weird.

There is a guy on Reddit who makes his male figures' bulges bigger. He does really nice customs though but they are always obscenely packing.

The not WoW elf chick Morna figure has nipples sculpted on her but not painted. That bugged me so I painted them. And the Lazy Monster Elves also have them with some light shading but I repainted those too. I just think if they're gonna make them anatomically correct they paint it proper. And after getting those figures, I got Sonja and she looked... so Barbie dollish, really basic. So I sculpted my own nipples on her too. I'll probably do it to the new one when she comes out. But I think I have to redo the ones I did on this Sonja cause her current bra doesn't cover them on the inside, since it's so skimpy. Ill have to maybe spread them a little more then I did or make them smaller. Anyway, It bothered the crap out of me her looking so, plain. Plus I wanted to see if I could actually do it and her figure was the perfect blank slate. So I'll probably do it to most of the BF figures I get, but there won't be many at the price they want. The next Sonja and the Aries Gladiator chick, maybe a blank and possibly that blue court of the dead chick cause she looks really cool. And even though shes not being displayed naked, I know what's under there. It'll bug me. I have alot of other things that work like that. Colors that don't match between limbs, anything broken and repaired. Even though I fixed it or whatever, I still know and it annoys me. I even repainted entire figures because I couldn't match the right shade and they fucked the shading up so bad. Like the most recent Pyro. I repainted almost the entire figure yellow. Cause the shade being off annoyed me.

So I don't judge people. If it floats his boat and he's not hurting anyone, let him sculpt whatever. There are exceptions to that, like pedophiliac art and such, just to clarify. But otherwise, idc what people do as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else.

Also, I did take some pics of the work I did to all the figures to show the people I trust since most people do still judge, but they're not the greatest pics. And there may probably be rules against those kind of posts. So I'm not gonna post them.
