Boss Fight Studios 1/12 and EPIC HACKS

I have enough Conan variations. I don’t need another. But I am so goddamned intrigued by that two pack cos when on Earth are we ever, ever getting that character in this scale again. I overpaid for him as a mini in a game I’ll never play just to own one.

I got Steampunk Sonja today. Absolutely love her. I knew I was gonna but she is gorgeous. And they fixed most lf the loose joint issues so shes pretty fuckin solid. Im displaying her with the big ass axe and special top cause I got her from their website to get that stuff. And the other hand is holding some rum, because, pirate, and i don't know many figures I have that have alcohol accessories lol. She gets to be a league all her own. I was also going to take her puffy sleeves off and just use the coat like a vest, but they've grown on me. And the best part, her skin tone matches the last one, so you can swap heads between them and it doesn't look off.

As for that 2 pack, I am still so tempted, cause, as said above, when are we ever gonna get green elephant man again? Its just so overpriced...

Im going to get one just for Mr. Kosha. Young Conan looks like a bit of a miss for me. I know what they were going for, but it doesn't feel very BWS to me. I love the idea of it, but cant say I love the product. Elephant guy looks great though (even he he's overly jacked).

While I'd LOVE to have Yag Kosha in my collection, I just cannot justify the price. I've had too many expenses lately that have made me be even more selective in my purchases. I had the AC go out in my house, which I had to borrow money from family to get fixed, and also had the alternator go out in my car, which I had to fix. This past weekend the AC went out in my car as well, which I'll have to put off repairing for the time being (which sucks because driving a car in Houston in summer without AC is a form of torture).

If money was no object, I'd definitely add such a cool, obscure character to my shelves. I love that a figure of Yag Kosha even exists! It's something I would never have predicted in a million years, honestly. I don't need that young Conan figure at all (if it looked more like BWS art it would be far more tempting), so that takes a little bit of the sting out of it, but damn.

I definitely prefer their first Conan to this one, so I'll be getting that. Not really that interested in Yag Kosha, especially since he's so swole. But the figures look pretty good.

Not sure if this thread or the other one is the place to discuss this, but Dan Larson got some early samples of the Garfield Halloween set. That special is annual viewing for me; never in a million years did I think I'd get articulated action figures from it.

It is indeed a stone cold classic. Maybe my favorite non Simpsons Halloween special? I do wish they did a better job with the stripes on the head, but the sculpts look to be on point.

The terrifying old man in the Garfield Halloween Special goes so much harder than it made any sense to in a kids' cartoon special.
