Blokees Transformers

The two smaller scales are blind bags. Once you start going up in scale, they change to specific characters. I still have the Classic Class (about 5" or so) Elita-1, and ROB Optimus to assemble.

Kind of interested in these but I find the way they are marketed is confusing actually.

They’re seem to be multiple lines and sub lines and they’re at different price points and I can’t always figure out why.

Seems typical of some of the Chinese toy lines tbh.

There are four different scales in the Transformers line.

The Defender Version are about 3" tall, and come in blind boxes and are around $4-$5 each.

The Galaxy Version are about 4" tall, and come in blind boxes and are around $8-$10 each.

The Shining Version are the same as the Galaxy Version, 4" tall and come in blind boxes but are $13 as they have a light up feature.

The Classic Class are about 5" tall and come as individual characters and are around $18-$20 each.

The Action Edition are about 6-7" tall and come as individual characters and are around $40 each, as they come with additional accessories.

Oh interesting, the action edition is a different scale.

I’ve looked at both the action and classic edition and couldn’t figure out the difference other than accessories.

It says they are model kits, so do they come on a sprue and you snap fit them like a gundam, or is it something different?

Yes they do. The larger the scale, the more intricate they get. I've put together a ton of the Defender and Galaxy ones, and they're pretty simple. I have two of the Classis Class ones, but haven't gotten to them yet. My youngest son (14) has done three of the Classics pretty quickly. He also does Gundam sets, and has gotten pretty good with those.

Cool cool. Thanks for the info

I've also seen Champion and Titan classes. Their refusal to simply list the heights on their products is infuriating.

And at only $5 each for the 4in Galaxy figures, dupes are just fodder for customswapping. Lemme see if I can get a pic of this SentinelScream I made.

The one that has enticed me the most is the mini devastator, but seems a little pricey to pick up tbh, considering how small it is

The WM retail price is like $4.84 for the Galaxys so Devy should only run like $35 to complete, if they could get distribution everywhere.

I packed up my SentinelScream, OptimusOne, and Galaxy/Studio bashes of Elita; but left them at the house this morning. Pics tmrw (maybe)!

I picked up the 4 Dinos (accidentally getting the light-up Shining Grimlock) and their critter modes, plus a couple of the non-car dudes off ebay; and learned that the 2nd wave of TFOne Galaxys have a ball-motion torso joint in addition to the standard swivel waist. I thought maybe it was unique to Elita as I'd gotten her first, and maybe she was special for being the first fembot in the line; but I later picked up Alpha Trion and the Death Stalker and they both also have it. I'm looking to find a whole case of the One 2nd wave, and the new wave with Sludge's two modes.

All told I've got about 25 of the Galaxys now, after scarfing an entire case of One wave 1 at WM. I ended up with three SentinelOnes and two of the gloss-metal Oppys. I'm thinking to try using extra IronHide heads as MicroNaut helmets, or whatnot. I've picked up a couple of ye olde ActionMasters to try upgrading to Blokee-ticulation but that old AM plastic drills out for shit, all globby and chunky; so it goes poorly.

For the Classics line, the RotB Arcee was the first Blokee I sampled, quickly followed by getting all of the Classics entirely. THAT's the real-deal '18th' Transformers line for me, imho; but they seem to have taken a back seat to the Galaxy line. You cannot know how many or how large the bricks would be shat from my ass if I could get Classics figures of the BeastWars and esp Machines dudes.

The Devastator is the Defender class, so I think it'll end up being about the same size as the Classic, or a little bigger. Also, yeah, it should only be $35(ish) to complete, but there is also the combining accessory for him which is another $5. You're still buying blind boxes, and if you go the eBay route it may end up costing more....like I did.

Wait, Devy's only Defender-scale? I thought he was Galaxy. The only Defenders I'm interested in would be the Tapebots and such.

Classics TFOne Scream + Galaxy Sentinel One = SentinelScream:

And a bash of Galaxy Elita-1 and her Studio figure to get her with a diff head and better feet. I definitely want more of this Elita buck to monkey with and this was just my first foray coinciding with the Studio's release, mostly.
