Big Bad Workshop General

I think the Monster Force pegs are smaller, so you could use a Santa head with a little blu tack.
 
I'm betting those reindeer are going to hang around through Christmas. I don't see a whole lot of people jumping on those this time of year.
 
Hey, so I'm just learning about the NPC line. Is there a general idea of when these are going to come out? My Crystal Lake could use a cheerleader and my action film setup could use some bank robbers.

I don't think they've announced any kind of date. This stuff tends to take a while, so I'd say they are at least a year or so out...maybe longer. I'm DEFINITELY going to get the Cheerleader for my F13 displays, and a priest to pit against some of my more demonic characters. I might grab some robbers for Batman and Spider-Man to punch as well.
 
I saw those pictures but was going to let them percolate for a bit because my initial thoughts were not kind.

I'm imagining these aren't finished figures and they're just fit-testing the packaging, or maybe it's unflattering lighting, because these seem waaay off the production value of Monster Force. Just some paint for the eyes and some paint mostly in the shape of a tie? None of the details or shading I see when I look at Van Helsing, fer instance.

SoF isn't a line I'm interested in anyways, but these pictures would've unsold me in a hurry.
 
If they are sending those two figures out ahead on the rest of the wave, that seems like a great way to reward those that ordered the all-in at :cautious: Not exactly the best idea to get people to continue ordering the all-in’s if it means they might be waiting even longer for everything.

Yeah. Its a bit of a bummer. That being said, it's giving my wallet a break after them releasing MF wave 2 and 0 at the same time.
 
Is there a good source for getting a look at / tracking the Big Bad Workshop / Fresh Monkey Friction interwoven toy lines? I keep finding out there are lines that I didn't know existed or thought they'd overlap in their listings on BBTS, like Order of the Crimson Moon and Monster Force and the Soldiers of Fortune that all look like they'd scale great with Classified etc. Just kinda want to shop/make a list/daydream about buying too many of them all in one place.

If you're asking about sneak peaks and future waves, Fresh Monkey has a Facebook page where they used to be pretty open about future releases and ideas, but it feels like they've quieted that down a bit with the move to Big Bad Workshop.

Thanks - I was hoping there might be like, one social or something that was best to follow since I keep bouncing between the different lines on BBTS and then being like "OH, they have ANOTHER LINE?" but they aren't necessarily under both MF or Big Bad. Like how to spot if something new comes along they're both working on. Just followed both of their IGs to keep an eye out for new stuff.
