Big Bad Workshop General

Interesting to see they included a picture with the red shadows head on one of the wolf troopers. They had been avoiding that for the most part to avoid running afoul of Hasbro.

So eager to have these in hand.
 
It doesn't look like it. On BBTS they have the shot included above, but they have another one with the red eye shield in place as well, so apparently its removable

That helmet is getting immediately swapped onto the white Count Ironmoon body to be Baron Ironblood, anyway. The Ironmoon head gets moved to the Major Noir body to become Black Major. No wolf troopers, just Red Laser, Red Vulture, etc...

Going to be fun building that Red Shadows display

Yeah, it's 100% removable. I forget where it's mentioned, but I remember it being part of the design since it was shown off.

Glad to see these new pretty promo pictures. I was starting to get a little afraid that only half the wave would be showing up next month and we'd have to wait a bit longer for the rest (namely waiting for Ironmoon's helmet).

Although I'm not terribly hot on Ironmoon's big loop hook on his belt for that whip. Probably going to be finding some solution to ditch that. Whether it's cutting it off or just swapping belts with another figure.
 
I'm not too familiar with the Red Shadows lore. If someone can help me out on which figures I would need to pre-order to build a Red Shadows display and if there is any information / reads in which I could get spun up. Thanks in advance.

Appreciate it Ru. So looks like from the 1st image far right looks to be the Skeletron figures the Wolf Troopers are part of this?.

Correct! And you're welcome. I have never read anything with Red Shadows in it, except the wiki articles heh. But still fascinated with the alternate group, and eventually I'll have a Red Shadows Week in the One A Day thread.

Ok, so its gonna be a little complicated to assemble some of the characters and others are pretty straight forward:

To complete Baron Ironblood (the big bad) and the Black Major (his second in command) you will need the following three figures:

Now things get a little tricky and you have to go off big bad toy store and go to Skeletron:

Red Wolf is complicated because there's a standard look and a version where he is a repaint of Wild Weasel. Skeletron has you covered with these:

Now you will only be missing Kraken and Red Vulture. Neither have figures yet, but Red Vulture is basically just a variant of the trooper (and thus will likely not be revisited) so I'd recommend the Monster Force Crimson Moon Sleepwalker:
