Yeah, that sucks. I would love a new Maxx and Scud figure.
Oh wow, SiP figs?!
Yeah, I think Terry got burned on this. He stated a couple years ago he'd never do action figures again.Oh wow, SiP figs?!

…..Oh man... Geoff Beckett could be a whole book. Suffice to say he started a company called Shocker Toys. at first they came up with a Stikfa ripoff toy.
I’m gonna say it again. He then disappeared for a second and then showed up trying to peddle his knockoff suicide girls thing and has withered away into increasing irrelevance, but refuses to disappear completely
I Googled "Bride in g-string" and, after much research, can confirm that logo is not in use.Instead of that hideous “New Adventures Poison Ivy but her rib cage is a pair of fangs” logo it could used the Bride of Frankenstein in a g-string or something, I don’t know I’m not the business guy around here (but to be fair, neither was Geoff)
What the hell? That beach Tick was a 2025 SDCC exclusive.I like mucus Tick, but I've also had regular Tick and beach Tick on preorder for a year+ at this point so my appetite for more Tick preorders is kind of small.
Saying things like this might make someone sad enough they take their flat ball and go home. But the argument is no different from 'Earthworm Jim is a nice figure.' It IS a nice figure (not perfect, not even great, but it's nice). Premium DNA are still absolute pieces of shit that deserve nothing but failure and poverty. Just like Geoff. Fuck everybody that uses this hobby to steal from people.
I *almost* bought SCUD when I saw him at TrU back in the day. I ultimately passed, because I didn't know anything about the character, but most of the reviews of him were positive.Didn't he also produce a line of Shoulder Action Figures, designed to sit on one's shoulder? Fun!
I didn't buy anything from him because my whole experience with him was through forum posts detailing his grifts. However, I found 3 things intriguing and from time to time considered looking at eBay for (but haven't):
1. Scud looked good and I like the dystopic idea of a vending machine assassin.
Like @Damien said, Maxx was apparently a decent figure. If Geoff wasn't a walking turd, it would have been a feather in his cap.2. I saw his Maxx figure in person once, displayed by person unknown in a laboratory downstairs from my lab when I was a postdoc. It looked good and better articulated than the (low bar for articulation) McF Maxx that I own.
I may be misremembering, but I believe he wound up selling the Mr. Gone figures at conventions, but didn't actually send any to the people who had ordered the mail-away. I know he DEFINITELY was selling them at a convention and lots of people were pissed who hadn't received theirs yet, but whether they actually did get them eventually I cannot recall. As @PantherCult noted, the figure was complete garbage.3. He advertised a mailaway Mr. Gone figure but I don't know if that ever came out or was an empty promise.
