For sure, I'm not suggesting you or he are lying. I just think there should be some sort of threshold for social sanction in these types of situations, and I'd certainly want more information or clarity before writing someone off (which I realize you weren't asking anyone to do, you were just sharing some information).
 
^^^same. I'm definitely not trying to encourage or sway anyone one way or the other. I've never done that (save the exception of Andrew Franks from Boss Fight. Forever fuck that guy). Just relaying some info to highlight as to maybe where Pabs's head is-- that the things people have grievances over aren't necessarily a new occurrence. 😀 S'all good.

I can't direct any ill will towards Pabs personally, I never knew a thing about the guy past a "oh that's the guy who owns the forums" (which I didn't know for a while) and only ever saw him speak briefly when things went critical, but I do hope he just focuses on Fwoosh Toys.

TheFwoosh Youtube was so heavily led by Robo's personality, TheFwoosh front page was never my go-to for news (the forums and preterniadotcom, baybee!), and the forums have mostly migrated with people running it that are all entrenched in the community and passionate about the forums. Just focus on the toy company at this point!

Madhouse is my favorite animation studio of all time, Ninja Scroll is one of the many pipe dreams for anime figures. Please just make it happen, and communicate the production of those well. The mess is so avoidable. Maybe not easily, but definitely avoidable.
 
I didn't think anyone was being out of line! It's a reflexive instinct from spending too much time on other online spaces to think people are immediately going to form an angry mob based on very little information - and, if I'm being honest, some defensiveness of a place I have a ton of nostalgia for even though I know nothing about the inner workings.

I just forget sometimes how damn reasonable and level-headed the people in this particular community can be. Honestly, you do the internet a disservice.
 
Pabs' reference to maybe padding his content with AI also REALLY rubs me the wrong way. Like.. with a bit of hatred. Although Pabs is like... Danish or something, right? Sometimes Northern Europeans have weird senses of humor, so it's also really hard to tell if he's being 100 percent serious when he's posting things. Need to force him to use emojis or something. Just for context.
