Age of Primes

I have no connection to him whatsoever, but am very tempted to grab him next time I see him.
 
There is a cool looking comic Sentinel Prime with a disk to display the Primes’ artifacts. Looks like a nice retool of Tarn. Kind of expensive though.

Crazy expensive. $68 is outrageous for a voyager class with added accessories. $45 tops.

I wonder if they'll use the size class to give us an actual Pretender.
 
Im so glad they released that 3 pack with Mirage and Ironhide. I was looking at a few on ebay of both of those that didn't cost a kidney and they both sold yesterday. And then this pack is up for order. So stoked.

Mirage definitely is, I saw a post somewhere comparing a bunch of cosmetic/resculpted differences. Ironhide and Bluestreak may not have been available elsewhere with painted windows either.
 
I preordered, needed a Mirage and Blue streak.

Two of my Targets changed their AoP Deluxe shelf tags from $12.49 to $7.49. Voyagers and Leaders have been restocked lately, but I haven't seen any Deluxe at the low prices. They might be getting snapped up too fast.
 
Jeez, 7.49 is insane. I hope the logic that these stores will no longer carry Deluxe class isn't true.
 
Target not carrying Deluxe would be an odd choice.
I bought a Powerglide just now at Walmart after passing a couple weeks ago because getting one at Target for a cheap price seems unlikely. My store has been hot with stocking new stuff on Sunday morning. As I was standing in the aisle, a guy passed by pulling a small pallet of toys. I try to stay humble when asking to open a fresh case, usually saying something like, "Can we open this box, I think it's something I was looking for?", as I pointed to the unopened box of Deluxe. Usually the person will pop open the case, but this guy scanned the box and showed me the pic on his handheld and said, "it's this one." So I had to point out the "AST" in the description as an assortment. I did not say, "Trust me bro, I know exactly what's in the box and how many."
 
I'm gonna ask this here, seems a good a place as any. I recently bought the Kingdom Grimlock off ebay since I found one for a decent price, and I really like most of this Dinobot mold. So now i have Grimlock and Dinobot proper, but I was thinking of buying the Buzzworthy Dinobot to have a small pack, since Raptors hunt in packs, but I don't want it to share the same head as Grimlock. Is there anywhere now that makes Transformers heads that would work? I have alot of the alt color figures and I like how most of them have different heads, like Antagony and the black and purple Waspinator and Scorponok. I'm trying to fill out my BW figures with some alt colors. I'm also probably going to get the Jurassic Park crossover figures and add them to the display as well. There used to be sites that would 3d print them, but I think Shapeways is gone and I don't know of too many others, and I would wanna make sure it fits. I can paint no problem, so it can be blank. I was also wondering if anyone would have a good suggestion as to a good alt head to use, if there's a place I can even find one. I was thinking of making the Buzzworthy figure Slash, cause its pink. So something akin to Slashes head would be cool, but i also don't know if a big version of that exists.

I also like the DNA dinobot upgrade hands from the BW kit, but i don't wanna buy 2 more of those kits just for the hands. Is there anywhere that makes better hands for him? Those are my biggest issue with the Dino mode.

I found Nexus Prime at Target. Haven’t transformed him yet, but the robot mode is a lot of fun. Kind of reminds me of a GM mobile suit from Gundam. Nice heroic blue and red colors. Really dynamic poseability in the arms and legs. The hips get a lot of movement so he can get into deep stances.
