Action Force and Valaverse

Ok, but you're still thinking about him. A lot. And that's weird.

You can like toys and not like the people who make them. They're not mutually exclusive. I don't like Chris Cocks at Hasbro, but I also don't complain about him for 9 months on message boards, because that would be <checks notes> weird.

Hi all, long time reader, first time poster.

I like Action Force figures, and I find them to be a better value for money than G.I. Joe Classifieds. I do wish the owner of the company would not go out of his way to publicly insult and condescend people (including his own customers), but G.I. Joe stans who seem to think about him 24 hours a day, 7 days a week should probably touch a little grass as well. Both lines co-exist and are still putting out new product, so everyone wins.
Oh, hi, Bobby.

Kind of disagree? Not like a lot, but definitely a little.

Is it? Because by that logic, in responding to me you are also thinking about me. And that's weird. Stop it, dude. You're so obsessed with me.

It's also weird how the very posters I assumed would absolutely flip out are indeed the very ones flipping out.
Who is flipping out, exactly? Do you think you may be projecting just like... a tiny bit?

Seems more 'fitting' than 'weird', but it's true. Everyone is getting way too hysterical about this right now. Let's cease with the all caps and try using a fraction of the exclamation points, please.

Yup, my earlier comparison to folks crying “TDS” is quite apt, it seems.

Yeah . . . this shit won’t fly here.

Choose another tactic. Being a combative so-and-so won’t get you anywhere with us.

Double-edged sword for me, really. I tend not to really think about who is behind the figures, since I'm not really buying them because of the person themselves. Most of the time, like with the Hasbro team (who, granted, I give plenty of shit to), they're just figureheads, and I know that. For others, like Todd and Bobby, since it is their brand and they're so front and center selling the toys, it's a little harder to escape the correlation. At the end of the day, though, even if I don't like the guy, I'll still buy whatever toys he peddles, as long as they're good, and as long as he, as a person, isn't too egregiously terrible. I can deal with a dick or two (tee hee), but it becomes a whole other matter if they're racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, etc. and actively making money off of it.

But I also say all this as someone who hasn't purchased a single Valaverse thing, and don't really see the need to just yet, so take my opinion for what it's worth. But also, asking NERDS on a TOY FORUM to not use caps and exclamation points?!?!
