2026-2027 Rumor/Leak List - New Year, New Thread!

Jesse was thumbing through the cards during the SDCC panel when he made the comment about 4 of them coming in 2026. It's hard to make out on the video because its so muffled. I don't really remember if it was "at least 4 of them are coming" or a hard "4 of them are coming". There are 24 cards in the pack, so who knows if he was referencing all of them at the time or just a few that he thumbed through. I guess time will tell.
I really don't think he was referencing all of the cards. I doubt he would have kept his composure after he saw the M'Baku card, which was right in the middle of the deck.
I'd like to think there are more than 4 coming in 2026.

What's everyone thinking for the Psylocke figure? Her hooded, armored costume? Repaint of the Gamerverse one?
I have a good feeling we will have armures Betsy next.

Don’t get me wrong, I will take all the Betsy figures we can get, but my girl needs to be done in her OG Body for the first time in figure form and the Outback armor is her most popular costume when caucasian.

I would live for her Disassembled one though.

-I can see Attuma being the BAF for this upcoming wave with Marrina, tying him in with her as aquatic characters. Attuma is a team completer, finishing off the animated Avengers Cabal.

-Dwight told me that the Guardians were "too difficult", to which I dismantled his comment on Martinex, Charlie-27 and Nikki by offering how they could do all 3 very economically. Starhawk does have the issue with how they would go about engineering his yellow wing/costume attachments. Was Dwight being sincere or was he throwing me a red herring?

-If I were to guess the 4 characters we will see in the 2026 I'd say Magik, armored Outback Psylocke, Attuma and Coipel Thor. Human Torch was on the Invaders card and we pretty much know he's in the mix from SDcomics conversation with Dwight.
Man the rest of the original GOTG are a big want of mine. However I think they would also need to do an update on the Vance Astro as the first release is a dated buck now. I agree that Martinex would be the easiest character to do. Simple Iceman redo. Charlie-27 could be done on a couple differnt large figure bucks with only a few new parts needed. Same for Nikki.

Of course I am biased and would be down for waves of original GOTG figures from the first lineup looks, all the way through the 80s/90s run.

Those old Toybiz Hulk waves are still some of my favs... looking forward to seeing another Mecha Hulk... and well anything more Hulk! but I've been wanting Future foundation FF ever since we got the FF Spidey waaaay back when... seemed unfair that the that the MU line got a set and legends didnt... of course they did Ben wrong... so here hoping we get a proper FF Thing.

Who knows...maybe we'll get multiple Psylockes in one year. Hasbro can sometimes show some favoritism to a character and put out a few versions. Depends on how easy they are to make.

Armored Betsy almost HAS to be in the pipeline...people have been asking for her in that costume forever!

I'd be shocked if the Gamerverse version didn't get a single-card release within the next couple years, maybe with a slightly different paint deco. There is no way Hasbro won't want to make more money off that tooling.

Can I just ask, what Magik are we talking about here? It doesn't seem that long since they did the modern version but the New Mutants version? But specifically her, not a two head job as mooted for Doug/Sam?
It may not seem like it, but it was a decade ago. The Walgreens release was 2018, which is still pushing a decade, but it was basically a rerelease of part of the SDCC exclusive, which was from 2015.

I was thinking today that the Gamerverse Psylocke body would probably be my choice for Elektra and Black Cat.

And that figure was bad when it was released.

We've talked about it ad nauseam: I wish they'd put more effort into characters who aren't likely to be revisited for a decade.

Magik is firmly B-list, too. There's no reason to go 10 years between releases.
