Mesmero is also an Alpha Flight villain so Alpha Flight fans seem to finally be getting some good news after a long time of crickets. I also hope they give us the classic version.

Do we have confirmation from retailers that the BAF wave will be getting up for preorder this month? If it is, it is reasonable to think that they will be showing it on Tuesday's stream but they must be showing something else. The rest of the Hulk wave? 97 Beast? Rivals?
 
So the thing with Alpha Flight is that they slow rolled the membership additions... Vindicator debuted by himself in UXM 109. Then we had the original core Alpha Flight Team in UXM 121. Then in AF 1 we add Puck and Marinna. Box joined at like AF 12 (I guess officially issue 24, but thats semantics). Talisman joined later at AF 19 (officially 20, semantics, look at the cover of 19) ...

All of those feel "core" because they joined during Byrne's run on the team.

But I'm a huge Alpha Flight mark, so like I said - if you give me Box, I'm gonna want Talisman. If you give me Talisman I'm going to want Diamond Lil ... and then Purple Girl, and Goblyn, and Witchfire and Box 2.0, and Windshear and Nemesis and..
 
Alpha Flight took such a dive for me after Byrne left. Characters like Goblyn and Windshear just remind me of a time when I couldn't figure out why the comic was still being published.

My ideal Flight shelf is pretty much issue #1 (Northstar/Aurora in matching costumes, orange 'Squatch, Mac not Heather) except I also really like big blue muscle Box and Shaman's later black and white costume. I actually really liked Box as a shape-shifting robot, but his design was pretty dull.

Not much of a villain shelf for them, though. The Master, Dreamqueen. Maybe Gilded Lilly. Omega Flight is actually pretty lame: a claw guy, a smart guy, a bullet-proof lady and an infinite number of not-bullet-proof dudes. If it weren't for the stolen muscle robot, they'd be completely ineffective. Somehow Mystique's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants is more powerful than Omega Flight, and one of them is an old lady with a crossbow.
 
I was just perusing the internet yesterday about previous leaks and what we might see next week then BAM see this Powers of X video hours after it was posted. What a list!! I appreciated his enthusiasm (albeit long winded) and that mini comic Wave (I'm assuming) is amazing. That Cyclops needs a definitive figure in Legends, accurate to Lee's art. It sounds like this wave might be going for just that with Team X Wolverine and Deluxe/Maximum Magneto and Sabretooth. Wonder if Creed is Team X with swappable parts to make Maverick??

Exodus is a long long time coming. Hoping Jubilee is Gen X and we get Synch before then. Pretty stoked except Dwight news....if he is gone there is no Legends (n)

Speaking of - we really need an updated classic Pyro. Mine is still from Toy Biz, and he looks great! And has sculpted boots. But a new one would be nice.

But do NOT gatekeep him in with an improved Avalanche.
 
There isn't a single wave here I'd buy all of, which is really saying something. And even the characters I want are more tha likely the versions I don't want.

They are spinning. My wallet is celebrating.
 
They just teased Jeff! The new livestream is Tuesday so they will defo reveal that leaked Wave 1 of Rivals figures. I'm so excited omg.
 
I'll be in for Luna Snow from the Rivals wave but am more than a little annoyed that she's expected to be packed with Spider-Man. I don't know if I would have gotten Rivals Jeff or not, but probably not now that he's supposed to be packed with Venom. I'll likely just stick with the unarticulated pack-in that came with Shiklah.
 
As usual, I'm hoping they show something that hasn't been rumored or leaked, like my ever hopeful Swordsman/Mantis 2-pack.
 
I have it on good authority that there will be another roleplay item revealed.......

Spiderman's web shooters. Not the mechanical ones, the organic ones. When you buy them you get an appointment for body modification surgery and they implant them in your wrists..........................................what?

Butt stuff is optional and costs extra.
