I love that game. I will hate Screwball until I die. That and the subway chase scene thing, when you're swinging from train to train, that almost brought me to tears.

Favorite video game! Just a blast from start to finish. With some key exceptions.

I hadn't thought of that goddamned subway chase thing since my last replay, dear God, thinking of it again triggered a near- vasovagal response in me.

I am cautiously optimistic about a Marvel Rivals subline from ML.

However I will need to see them before making a final judgement. I love a lot of the designs from Rivals, and I think the ML team is going to lean into the characters that are both popular and have fairly easy repaint options. I mean each character in the game has multiple looks, but a lot of those looks would require extra tooling. So that means ML will probably stick closely to the characters with simple repaint options. If the line somehow manages to go gangbusters then I could see more budget being allocated.

Either way the Punisher is one of those designs I really like so I'll be down to get him, unless they manage to royally screw it up.

If Marvel Rivals designs begin showing up in general Google Images search results for classic and longstanding characters, I fully expect to start getting homogenized combinations of characters as part of Hasbro's "close enough" design research.

I love playing Marvel Rivals with my daughters! Such a fun game. Jeff the land shark is their favorite character to play, so I am psyched by the tease. Punisher is one of my favorite characters to play, and he’s so jacked like a superhuman body builder in the game. It’s a fun look. Definitely need a figure of him.

Of course, I’d absolutely love figures of my other two favorite characters to play— Iron Man and Ultron, who both have a lot of cool looks in the game.

My daughters love Moon Knight, too. Is he rumored?

Now I went from hopeful to 'how are they going to f*ck this up' but looking at all her other designs I swear it'd be CHEAPER to just do her OG look. They have all the parts, pretty much, just pop a new head on there.

I am going to do my damnedest to appreciate the fact that any new, dedicated sculpts in ML are a good thing and should be celebrated, and not be a big whiner because those beautiful new sculpts aren't being used on figures that I actually want.

I know a video game character that could use a beautiful new sculpt.

Yeah, if they do a chunkier Doom with paler greens, per Marvel Superheroes, I’d absolutely be down. Throw in some cool energy effects and pack him in with a similarly bright MVC Spidey, please.

Yep. As I was organizing for an upcoming sale I was looking at my Alpha Flight lineup and got more excited for possibly Marrina and Box. Fingers crossed!!!

I still need a Sasquatch though. I don't have one currently and a late 80s look would be ideal for me to add to the collection. Also a classic Wendigo like the Toybiz release please. I have the BAF but it just isn't the same.
