Busiek/Perez is totally worth doing! Wanda, purple Simon, Justice/Firestar - do we have a Thor who looks like Perez's version, headsculpt-wise? I liked the way he drew Thor. We got the bearded version with Destroyer.

Still want a Perez Morgan Le Fey.

I have never seen a The Crossing design on - let's be generous and say more than one fan's wishlist. WHY would they choose to do those looks over other actually requested designs? That's the kind of move I don't get - it's their choice to actively ignore what fans say they'll spend money on.

And does anyone else find it odd how, despite three successful films and starring in two of the biggest movies of all times, there is so little Guardians merch, of any iteration? I think Drax and Moondragon were the only thing since 2023?

The Heroes Return Perez run is an all-time favorite. Absolutely worth of some ML focus. Lots of great new characters to do like Beamish is pointing out.

I totally get lots of the other moves - hitting lots of different eras/looks all at once, spreading out teams, etc. I don't love it, but it makes sense if you're trying to keep this line going for the long haul. But I agree that dipping into the Crossing seems like a bridge too far. It's a famously disliked era of the comics - probably the worst Avengers run of all time? - and mining that well when there is so much other gold out there would be self-defeating.

Thankfully, this is just a rumor for now. I still want that Giant-Man though, for real.

EXACTLY. We do not need to scrape the bottom of the barrel - we are so far, far from needing to do that.

Blue Shield was also in the Squadron Supreme issues as the resident hero security at Project Pegasus and Stunt-Master was doing media commentary during the Avenger's parade. Would love to get official figures of them as well. The other source material for a line I'd love to see is Busiek's "Avengers Forever" maxi-series.

So the 4 figures on the margins are all rumored for the second Secret Wars wave... so super happy thats still happening... but the Magik picture seems a bit out of place with the others. Theres no way they'd put that Magik in a Secret Wars wave, so hmmm...

I can totally see them putting Magik in this wave in her X-Men/New Mutants suit with her silver arm and the sword.
She was in three issues of Secret Wars II, plus the two New Mutants tie-in issues.
Maybe throw us a bone and include a powered down Magma head.
Also she's in the AT card set that Jesse said 4 more characters were coming in 2026.
They would totally put her in this wave as opposed to Volcana, because Grodd forbid they finish off the first Secret Wars cast.

Interesting that there is no Spider-Man in that picture, since he's the rumored 5th character.
