2025-2026 Rumor/Leak List - UPDATED List 9-9-25 (after the livestream)

I mean, it certainly FEELS like we're missing a Disney Plus wave this year, but I think we all know that things have changed with how Hasbro is releasing product.
I agree entirely. I actually had given up hope for more D+ waves before that rumor came. I'm surprised hasbro went all in with Disney Plus figures at one point and wish they hadn't if it would mean we get title characters like goddamned Echo. I would trade alllll the What If figures for Echo, and the entire Konshu wave for Werewolf By Night.
Having Punisher and Daredevil on their own and not part of a traditional wave isn't a good sign on that front, imo. With the way they have seemingly scaled back on MCU Product lately (less full waves, more stand alone releases. Ex= DD:BA, Cap 4, and Thunderbolts and slow rollout for DP&W).
Right, and I don't blame them at all.
I think Hasbro has just been waiting for a movie to actually release before pushing product now. Maybe that's because they aren't getting enough lead time on certain things or maybe this is just a philosophical change on their part on how they want to move forward with public sentiment on the MCU flipping over the last few years.
And they've always had a problem around this. First it was basing figures on concept art that didn't match the finished character on screen, BUT the figures were on pegs in time for the movie's release. Then it was shifting release dates for several reasons. Now it's poor reception to the movies and shows themselves.
Think about DP&W. They came out with their first 3 figures, the movie was pretty universally praised, and now they're going back for at least one more wave with this rumor now of even more.
And I'm fine with that, really. I just want the figures. I was okay waiting a couple years to get Electro. Or 3.5 years even.
Then consider Cap 4 has its 3 Deluxe offerings, movie is absolutely panned by critics (I thought the reaction was a little too harsh. It's not great, but it's not as bad as everyone made it out to be),
Completely agreed. Not great, but a little fun even if it's not one I'm anxious to throw on again.
and they don't seem to be going back to that well for Sidewinder, Leader, Sabra, etc.
And I'm totally okay with that. I'd say Leader is the only bummer, even if I don't want him. But he's a classic comic figure, and another missing movie villain.
They certainly feel less essential though than say Ghost and Bucky from Thunderbolts.
BIG TIME.
But don't forget Thunderbolts LOST money
I will continue to forget that no matter what you or the facts say!
which sucks because I thought it was great!
Agreed. I'm POSITIVE it will blow up once it hits Disney Plus, for what that's worth. But it was my favorite Marvel post-Endgame, and probably in my top five Marvel of all time.
It just makes me wonder if Hasbro is going to be in a hurry to dip their toes back into that well.
Which is totally fair. And I recognize I'm the last person who should be dictating what figures get made because a) I have a unique and bizarre collecting focus, and b) I don't care what makes money or is popular. I bought the movie Venom figure LONG before seeing that movie, and still wouldn't have seen it at all if my son didn't decide we should watch the Venom movies together. I will never watch Madame Web, no not even if I'm drunk at my brother-in-law's house during a gathering and he puts it on as a joke. BUT, I want a figure of Julia Carpenter suited up from that movie. Full price pre-order. So, to my perspective... I guess I get when Black Panther makes a surprise killing at the box office that hasbro sees need to do a second wave, but I don't see how Thunderbolts doing poorly should have an impact on figures getting done. I'm sure they have data I wouldn't comprehend about it, but to me even the worst MCU movie is still MCU. Some of these characters still feel essential to the collection as a whole. I really didn't like Quantumania (though I do want to give it another chance soon), but I had to have a Kang and liked Wasp's design more than the other figure. Love & Thunder was another one at the bottom of my list but I liked that Valkyrie more than the other versions. Multiverse of Madness may be my least favorite MCU movie of all time, but had to have America Chavez. But yeah, I do know I'm weird.

I'll be curious if Hasbro supports Ironheart or Wonder Man at all. So far, nothing announced or even rumored, but announcing Ironheart at SDCC would make sense.

If they don't, that's three projects without even the title characters getting a figure, Echo being the other. Four if you count WBN.

We all like what we like and collect what we like to collect. Nothing weird about it. I love my comic Iron Men. I hate the Superior Iron Man run. The figure is a decent upper body sculpt thrown on MCU legs and an awful inaccurate paint job.. Just an overall not great release.. Do I own that figure? You bet.

I totally get you re: bizarre collecting focus. My MCU collection isn't really about the movies (even though I'm a big MCU fan) but about having live-action versions of my favorite Marvel characters. That's why I got the Venom and Carnage figures, even though I've only seen the first movie and that's why I want the entire Madame Web roster as figures (it will never happen), DESPITE having seen that hilar movie.

It's odd. Hasbro has ignored Echo but we're getting DD and Punisher, which makes sense, of course. They're big, recognizable names. But they've also ignored Agatha All Along, which I know, women in dresses yadayada, but it was a bigger hit than Born Again with audiences. I feel like they're being extra safe because, as Resilient pointed out, they went all in at first and it didn't pan out, sadly.

That all said, they BETTER give us an updated Jessica Jones when DDBA Season 2 hits.

@Resilient heh heh, awesome... thank you.

Right... and I do count WBN. But yeah, I'm not feeling too optimistic. I really like what looks to be Riri's main armor on the show though, and would like a figure. I don't know that I've ever read a comic with Wonder Man ever, so I don't really know the character. I'm ready for the show to be entertaining anyway, but probably won't get a figure. I loved the GOTG movies but sold my figures off, trying to not get figures just because I love the movie or show.
My MCU collection isn't really about the movies (even though I'm a big MCU fan) but about having live-action versions of my favorite Marvel characters.
That's... exactly the same for me! Secret Wars (80s) is my big focus, but also Dark Reign, the Giant Size X-Men team, and Spider-Man villains. I'd be tempted by a Madame Web Anya Corazón figure though, but that's falling into the whole thing of wanting a figure because I like the performer and I can't do that either.

Right, even if Born Again didn't do so well, those figures absolutely will.

Well, especially now that a JJ spin-off is rumored. I'm almost positive they'll do a Jessica Jones figure though because I bought one relatively recently for not a crazy amount but more than I wanted to.

Yep, that's why I would also love FOX-Men figures. Also why I want Hercules, Clea and Black Knight to go ahead and have proper debuts on screen. I want a 90's Avengers roster (Cap, Widow, Vision and Sersi are waiting) and classic Defenders (Strange, Namor, Hulk, Valkyrie and the upcoming Silver Surfer are it for now).

If we get a Wonder Man figure, and I really hope we do, then I'm gonna need an AOS Adrianne Palicki Mockingbird figure as well. See the problem?

I refuse to give up hope on the Fox-Men figures, and in my mind, assuming they do exist, it just depends on how Hasbro wants to market them. If they're being put out as an anniversary wave, since this is the 25th anniversary of the 1st movie, then I'd expect them this year. If they were going to release them to celebrate the X-Men's intro into the MCU, then obviously I'd expect them to be delayed since Doomsday got pushed back.

Regarding X-Men 97, I do think it's possible that they could be working on 2 concurrent waves. Wave 3, which is based more off the first season and to tide us over, but if Marvel/Disney provided them with materials for season 2, I don't see why they couldn't get started on figures for those too, especially if some of the costumes from the end of season 1 stick around for a bit, they'll have a headstart on designs. Especially since the scuttlebutt is that Polaris is one of those figures, and we know she's coming in season 2.

But again, all this is wishful thinking.

I do wonder if Ironheart is gonna get any figures at all. Considering how long the original Ironheart figure stuck around, and how cheap it was when it finally disappeared, I can see Hasbro wanting to wait to see its impact first. Which is a shame- I like Anthony Ramos, and the idea of The Hood in live action is intriguing, but I guess I should see how it plays out first.

I think in this case, as it pertains to leaks and credibility, it would just be important to keep in mind that these aren't necessarily the same thing.

For example remember back in the day when Rektangular leaked that there was a riders Hawkeye and Sky-Cycle coming that didn't come out and then years later when Avengers 60th program gave us that and he took a victory lap and considered himself vindicated? Those aren't the same thing. Whatever he was talking about at that time, something like 5 years earlier than the actual release did not exist at the time and was not in the pipeline, no retailer was solicited a Riders Hawkeye at this time. Rektangular was a very reliable source back then, but that particular leak was bad information and since then he's largely just reported on other people's information.

So you want FoX-Men? A lot of people do and I hope you all get them. However, the FoX-Men that surely are coming out for Doomsday are not the same as the FoX-Men wave that was "leaked" on reddit. Again, the distinction becomes important when you want to collect and aggregate CREDIBLE information. Of course, this whole discourse doesn't matter if the wave ends up existing though.

It's funny, I was literally just reorganizing my more recent MCU figures because I haven't had them on display lately, and... it's too bad they aren't selling or not a focus, cos those last few rounds had some magnificent figures and I'd love to see them do the same with characters like Echo, Death, Scarlet Scarab... Maybe I'm biased, but I loved the Hawkeyes, Moon Knight, Talos, (I wish Fury's coat opened cos he's kind of a statue), and even the Marvels figures were great... ALL the What If figures are great IMO.

I'm far, far more interested in comics-based characters than live action, but dangit, they HOOKED ME, so they better not cut me off.

I just REALLY hope someone presses the guys for MCU line direction information at SDCC this year - everyone is always afraid to ask them real questions. I know they won't say WHO is - or isn't - coming, but they could at least address the change of direction and set some expectations for character selection/depth moving forward IF it has changed.

Like, are we only expecting title characters from here on out? If that? Is there a time limit from media release for when we should expect a character isn't coming? Is another Infinity Saga catch-up line a possibility?

I hope so. The MCU is the only segment of my ML collection I expect to keep growing indefinitely. At this point I just cherry-pick significant upgrades of comic figures, or brand new characters/looks, or anything with an X on it. I want Echo, Werewolf by Night, Elsa Bloodstone, Misty Knight, more Riri armors, Sabra, The Hood, etc. I have customs of some of these but would still be thrilled to replace them. Just...nothing from Secret Invasion, thanks.

I totally agree, but you know they're just gonna give the corporate answer. They don't wanna tell fans anything that they could misconstrue or be held against them in the future. It'll be some version of "we're excited to get an opportunity to work closely with Marvel and Disney on whatever the fans want to see! We don't have anything further to comment at this point regarding the structure of our MCU waves, but we urge fans to buy what they hope to see more of."

And honestly, I can't exactly blame them. Long-running franchises like the MCU are always in flux. They may have downward slopes where interest wanes, but all it takes is one good movie or show to come along and convince everyone- fans and manufacturers alike to give it another chance. I don't know if there's necessarily a perfect answer, but if I had to guess, I'd assume the safest bet would be to just make the 2 or 3 biggest characters and see how the thing does before committing to more.

It just feels like we have big holes in our lead character line up. One of my fave waves was the Ultron BAF wave with all the leads of the D+ projects of those years - it meant we had teased and waited for characters for what felt like forever but a fun wave!

Imagine - WBN, Echo, Wiccan, Iron heart, Wonderman, Loki - despite not each project hitting I’m sure the key leads in their best super hero suits would convince MCU buyers to get the wave.
