I love all of this!!!

Classic Doom is a day one purchase. As nice as the other versions of Doom have been, they aren't the definitive Doom I'm waiting for.
Marvel's greatest villain needs to be made in his most iconic look. Come on Hasbro give us a classic Dr. Doom!
 
They kind of teased that shield effect in the booth at San Diego could be coming, and if that's the case, I think most are assuming it would be part of a Maximum release.
 
Can see how they could Frankenstein Golden Skull with existing tooling, which makes it that much more likely.

Yeah, it's not a for sure match, but he's got a couple of images with gold bars, and part of his plot apparently involved breaking into a parallel timeline Latverian embassy to get a time machine... so maybe? It would also link the gold bars and the bank bag more since his whole deal is apparently he's just a modern day pirate asshole.

It would be a weird choice, but no weirder than Punisher Mech or even some of the ones they've made semi recently.
 
"Golden Skull" is the name of that?

I don't understand this new trend of only "A-List re-dos and re-releases to the MAX!" and then a character so hard for fans to identify that it qualifies for the Z-list.

We can't have Raza because he's too asymmetrical but this guy makes the cut?

? Golden Skull is pure speculation, and tons of a-listers got made in regular form this year. I'm not sure this is a real thing.

Just speculation. I'm still not sure it entirely matches. Whatever the gold is, it's either a very left-field choice for a character, or a very left-field choice for an accessory. We did get a possible leak of Doom 2099. And I could see them maybe doing a made to order or Maximum Doom that would potentially work with those bars. It's a hard one to figure out, for sure.

Punisher Mech seems like a lock, if we're wrong on that one I have no idea what else the head and missile launchers could be and it doesn't seem like anyone else does either. The gold bars and money bag are another story, we don't even know if they're from the same figure (though they feel related). I suppose they could be that one supposed leak of Slyde.
