I think Kitty looks a lot like Cassaday's art, particularly the hair-down version. Pretty sure this was the reference.

I just buy Marvel Legends, all of them. I do have a particular hankering for a Baron Blood though before a Spirit of 76.
 
Hopefully the next rumored Onslaught will be upgraded as was Juggernaut. Onslaught destroyed Juggernaut so ultimately Onslaught should be bigger and more intimidating than the new Juggernaut.

One of my favorite comics as a kid was Marvel Two-in-One Annual #1. I loved that issue so much. I had lots of fun putting the MTIO Liberty Legion Classic Premiere HC together back in the day.

I didn’t get to read the concluding story until years later. I wondered what the heck happened to that crazy giant flying swastika for probably fifteen years. 😅

I always loved how Ben Grimm looked in his Thing exo-skeleton. So cool.

Anyway, what I came on to say was that I’d love a set of Liberty Legion and Thing exo-suit Ben Grimm figures one day. Highly unlikely, but it’s fun to talk about our underdog favorites.

Unlike Juggernaut who is a new figure, I believe that the new Onslaught is supposed to be a just a single card re-issue and repaint of the most recent BAF of the character (similar to Apocalypse, Kingpin and Rhino on a larger style retro card). At least that is what was communicated on Displaying Model Behavior where I first heard it leaked.

I agree that a larger and more intricate version would make sense for a Mate to Order offering, though.

If that's the case then as I said above me buying Marvel Legends all of them that steak will come to an end.

Totally on board for the entire Liberty Legion. Just read a couple of comics with Ben in the Thing exo-skeleton. That would make so much sense as a Thing variant, I don't know that it is highly unlikely. Would likely purchase him too.
 
Instead of the proposed, patriotic 3pk, I think either an Invaders boxed set or a Cap wave would be a better patriot-themed release.

I think the head sculpts on the Colossus/Kitty 2pk are pretty good. I think Colossus' heads in particular look like Cassady artwork. I do appreciate finally getting butterflies and a torso ball on Colossus. I've gotten quite turned off by the ab-crunch/waist-swivel combo over the years.
