20 Years of Hasbro Legends - Is This The Yearly Anniversary Offering/Program?

Lies. What action figures actually looked like when SD was a child:

Hey - at least they made a girl!

I’d like to see a redo of the modern She-Hulk that was in the Blob wave (HML2). She’s still in my display and remains one of my favorites from that era of Hasbro ML. Yellowjacket, Hercules, Planet Hulk, Bucky, Doc Samson, are my top wants for redos.

I can remember the boards blowing up at all the angst over Hasbro getting the license... Hasbro tried to calm everyone down by saying "We dont make bad toys"... now those were some lies!
Yeah, Hasbro didn't try with Marvel Legends at least until the Terrax Series/Return of Marvel Legends.

The last couple years of anniversary programs have had some absolute bangers and some of my favorite figures released those years.

2025 - MvC - Shuma-Gorath, Psylocke, Juggernaut, Cap, Wolvie
2024 - 85th Anniversary - Ghost Rider, Power Man & Iron Fist, Odin, Skaar, Ms Marvel, Superior Spider-Man, Cabal...
2023 - Avengers - Captain Marvel, Hawkeye, Black Widow, FA Iron Man, Thor/Destroyer, the West Coast Avengers 5-pack.

With the big MCU comeback poised to start this year I wouldn't be surprised if they do an MCU program. Wouldn't be my preference, but the timing would make sense.

I'm gonna be SO PISSED if it's MCU fill-ins because I just *today* finished customs of High Evo, Gamora and Kraglin from GOTGv3.

I guess I'm the sacrifice.

(I won't really be pissed because these figures are NEEDED and the MCU deserves more attention than it's gotten the last two years.)

I had dinner with Hasbro at SDCC a year or two after their legends launched and expressed my disatisfaction with the quality vs ToyBiz. They were shocked, asking what my compaints were. I ran down the list: sculpts, paint, articulation, packaging.

Their defense: "Yeah, but there's no re-grind!". LOL, as if anyome ever stood in a toy aisle and thought, "I'm not sure I want to buy that because some parts might be made of recycled plastic."

Glad they eventually got their act together & kept it going. Most toy lines get recycled every year to some extent, but it's usually the SOS - the aisles have the same brands they had 30 years ago, for the most part. The great thing about Legends is that they're still doing certain charchters for the first time and at east trying to do beter versions of older figures who badly need to be updated.

very true... but not quick enough for many... we begged for the better part of a decade for Crystal and Lockjaw!
And we have an Ikaris with no other Eternals slated... but hey maybe we'll get a proper Malice??!

Don't worry if the anniversary program is MCU then it will just be new figures of the original Avengers from 2012 and they'll call it good.
I would call that better than good - I would say that's *extremely* needed!

A correctly-sized Loki (with an alt head for a Thor 1 Loki), correct Widow, correct Hawkeye, I'd do a perfect Cap from Endgame or maybe AoU (I don't want another of his Avengers 1 costumes), Banner, Hulk, a brand-new Thor, Chitauri - all of this = $$$.

And just a full-on new version of the SHIELD boxset- Maria, Coulson and Nick.
