1/12 Diorama/Terrain/Props/Vehicles

I've thought of using my TV too, but my new(ish) monitor is pretty dope, so might as well get some use out of it, right?
I bet you get a clearer image out of the monitor, too.

I wish I had ANY kind of privacy in my back hard - I've got enough plant life back there to get some fun shots but I'd definitely be a grown man crawling around with his action figures out there.

I'm on team "kill the part of you that cringes". Fuck'em if they don't know how to have any fun.

The only ones I can think of off the top of my head are the Dioramansion display bases. They have a LOT of background options including outdoors: https://www.hlj.com/search/?SeriesID2=Dioramansion&Page=1

Not sure how well they'd work and they are imports, but it's something to check out.

Very nice. Granted I'm biased because I did the skin for the Cats With Knives version, but you should really check out the arcade cabinets by Super ActionStuff. He's also got a vending machine coming out soon that would fit well in that dio. Both come with a boat load of 1/12 accessories. Of course there's also the Fortnite ones but those I feel don't look quite as good unless you get a reskin pack from some of the folks online who make them.

Here's the Super Action Stuff arcade cabinet I did the art for: https://superactionstuff.com/products/copy-of-game-on-arcade-w-led-light-cats-with-knives-2

Yeah, I have 2 of them, I just called them the wrong thing (Man of Action- I knew there was action in the name). I have all of the various crates they've done as well.

Just found that the Dioramansions are on Amazon, too. Might just grab one and see how they look since they're the same price with free shipping. Just deciding which one to give it a shot with since there isn't a jungle specific one, but quite a few that are locations I don't have a backdrop for.

I just pulled them up on Amazon and it looks like they'll be too small for NECA figures. It says in the description they are about 5.9" x 5.9" in size, ideal for Figma, Nendoroid and 1/12 (I'm assuming 'true' scale like Mafex or SHF) figures.

From the Amazon listing.

  • 【Durable and Sturdy】 Exquisite workmanship. Suitable for 1/12 figures, soldier scenes, mini die-cast cars.
  • 【High Quality Material】 Made of durable foam board material for long-lasting use. Display your favorite characters with these assembleable backdrops.
  • 【Collection Background】Can be used for car model display. Can be used for model car display, action figure display, decorative ornaments to make your collection look more attractive.
  • 【Model Backdrop Display】1:12 scale simulated car model scenes, very easy to assemble.
  • 【Application】Suitable for figure photography or display. Collection, display, office, home, desktop decoration, etc.

So likely paper backed foam board.

I ended up picking up a set of these. They are small—Classified can stand in them but if you raise a rifle over the character’s head it’ll go above the backdrop—but for like seven dollars each, they are ok for very quick snaps. Definitely too short for NECA or McFarlane.

Ramen Toys put up a restock of their "tiger" Charger FKA The General Lee on their site.

2 versions, both come with stickers, one option has them applied already.

I missed it the first time, so I jumped on it this time.

The backdrops are too small for taller figures, but those cheap dioramas I picked up on Amazon are… weirdly cool to shoot pics of minis I’ve painted in front of? Like I kinda love how this combo looks:
