I've been thinking about this, too. The only thing I can come up with is that they want them to fit in with their 1/6 stuff. As a 1/12 collector, I'd like Adventure Time Finn to be 5 or 5.5" and Jake 4 or 4.5". The Adventure Time stuff is double that height.
