    Chicken Fried Toys/Dime Novel Legends

Kinda forgot about this. Thanks for posting all that. Pretty questionable that the situation has gone from having the site ready sometime around Jan. 15 to work is all but done on April 18 to just not mentioning it at all by July and telling folks they're not going to rush things as if it's some...

McFarlane Toys General Video Games (Fallout, Diablo, etc.)

I can't believe how bad that looks — bad for a $20 figure. It's insane to me that they're trying to charge a premium price for this. Think about Classified Mutt & Junkyard or Road Pig and Rawkus with the sculpting and the articulated animals and everything and then take a look at the pictures...

    Mezco One:12

Pretty bad timing considering the Haslab campaign. Definitely would've went without a figure — who was pretty lackluster originally and more so now — but you're probably right, it wouldn't have shaved all that much off the total cost. I'd rather go with the Vala $180 package than throw nearly...

    Snow C.A.T. Live!

They're knocking off the $6.99 shipping charge for everyone when they order — but there's also a $29.99 "Haslab surcharge" that is the "per item fee covering shipping costs." That's what's supposed to come off for the Premium folks.

    Marvel Toys on Sale

Ha, I was just coming to post about Neca. Grabbed the blister card Elkhorn. I've had my eye on him for awhile but it's been tough to justify full price when I have the first Elkhorn despite the fact he was one of my favorite figures as a kid.

    Marvel Toys on Sale

It's just sad how little there is to choose from on the Target website across Marvel Legends, Classified, McFarlane and Star Wars. I have a Micro Galaxy ARC 170 in my cart which I have preordered on Amazon and I'm looking for something to add that will basically result in a $10 discount and...

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

I remember happily finding it in a Walmart — and then realizing I really, really didn't like the weapon arm. Looked like something you'd get with a Happy Meal toy. He was very nice otherwise but that was a deal-killer for me.

    Snow C.A.T. Live!

In my head, the Cobra stuff has always been smaller/kind of whacky (FANG copter, I'm looking at you) because they're a terrorist organization that doesn't have the production capabilities a militarized country might have. Sure, they probably have some deal going with a Third World country or...

What is your most recent deal, or "steal" on toys?

I would have been all over those Hiya Joes for the same reason. I have a small JoyToy/Acid Rain collection they'd probably fit in with very well.

Always hang on to your receipt. Especially with Target clearance.

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

Missing out on that Mezco One:12 KGBeast a few years back still hurts me to this day. A McFarlane version would be great. Also, should I just accept that the red Cyborg Superman has come and gone from Target at this point? Never saw a sign of him — and I looked, I looked hard ...

    Marvel Toys on Sale

Yeah, I'm seeing a whole lot of Banshee at my local stores. The Walmarts around here all seemed to get a case (I'm guessing) of this wave in the past few weeks. I haven't seen any remnants of the wave lately, so they must have sold ok — but if it's only a case at a time ...

    G.I. Joe Classified Series

What? No Channing Tatum? But what about this awesome dude: It's one of the best Retaliation releases. I had so many of these at one point thanks to the pre-trash days of 5-Below. PS: Is there some way to control the size of the photos? I didn't need this much Tatum ...

    Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

Yeah, a lot of good stuff but I'm surprised by how little I'm drawn to the orc. I should be all over Tundra Orcs but I'm more intrigued by the 3.0 body than the actual look of him. I think he could've used an unmasked head. Feel the same about Igraine and Halvard and their main heads, not a fan...

    Marvel Toys on Sale

Thanks for the heads up — grabbed the last Iron Man at the Target closest to my office this afternoon. Shocked Chuck is still $17.49. I don't think they've sold a single Prof. X figure at that store, even at 30% off. Also, you can't base a wave's success on Target clearance trends. They're...

    Comic creators RIP thread

Damn, this is sad news. I got into Marvel Comics in the very early '80s and from what I understand he deserves a lot of credit for how great much of that decade was for Marvel. And it really was something special. They'll never be anything like it. I was there for some of his Avengers stuff and...

    Snow C.A.T. Live!

I was distracted by all the Steelers/Dolphins craziness this morning and forgot about the stream. The Snowcat is better than I imagined it would be. I really like the size and the look of it. A bit more bulky and impressive than the OG version, which I was a big fan of. Great idea having the...

    Action Force and Valaverse

Thanks for posting. The Locust looks like it's coming along nicely. How long till GI Joe announces the night landing raft? I'm gonna guess not too long. Kinda just skimmed through the figures but there were a couple that caught my eye. The big news is the Splinter Cell license and WWII line...

    Inart 1/12 DC Figures

Received mine as well about 9 a.m. today. Interestingly, UniUni was the deliverer for me. I don't have a lot of time to mess with it right now but I had to see the Bale head in person. Does not disappoint at all. It's actually stunning how good it looks in person. Here's a quick pic with my...

Anybody bite on Agent Gomez 1975 today? Was kind of annoyed he was $125 but thought it was a cool enough version with the afro and all— then I was hit with a $26.50 shipping charge in checkout and said screw it. What a joke.

    Marvel Toys on Sale

The summer purge is underway at Target. Among all the clearance tags that sprouted up at my closest store yesterday, I spotted Rom wave Iron Man down 30% to $17.49 and Miles Morales down 15% to $21.49. Strangely, Banshee was still at full price. The retro Charles Xavier was also 30% to $17.49.

    Acid Rain World: Novark

Yeah, no doubt. I'm sure they'll be worth the extra cost. And there's so many ways they can go between the figures, drones and the vehicles ... an Ankylo?

    Acid Rain World: Novark

Oh boy. I only have a few 1:18 figures but they're great. These will be tough to resist — unless they're really expensive, which I feel could be a real possibility.

    Dan Mitchell's Bushido!

That cardinal figure and its demon eyes comes out of nowhere as you're flipping through the pics. Wasn't expecting that in the sequence.

    Operation Monster Force

Wow, the Phalanx looks very manageable in the pics. Thankfully, I'm not very drawn to the Crimson Moon stuff but everything else looks so damn good.
