The fuck?? HOW??? This figure has been plastered over everyone’s twitter and instagram feeds for months now. Especially if you’re in the toy collecting sphere on social media. I refuse to believe you lack that much special awareness.

I probably just scrolled past it assuming it was the shaded MAFEX release or something. I also only really tune into and fully acknowledge what I care about, and Spider-Verse and most comic book movies are not things I collect or care about in the slightest.

That would be an easy assumption to make. I’ve seen a ton of customized Mafex scarlet spider figures with the comic painted details. Also the 2.0 Mafex solicitation dropped about a week before the SHF version was announced. I actually placed an order for the SHF version at first but then the news about the tariff increases came down from most shops and I was worried I might not be able to afford the SHF version. So I picked up the Mafex thinking it might make for a nice consolation prize. But that seemed to fizzle out and the prices weren’t too bad.

I’m glad I decided to keep my order too. This Scarlet Spider is gorgeous. Makes me want to read through my clone saga collection again.

I'm guessing everyone has seen that Gamerverse Wolverine is up for pre-order in all of the usual places for the usual price. I'm still not sold on this one, but it's intriguing enough that I threw a preorder on him at Amazon as I won't feel bad about cancelling on them if it comes to that. The articulation looks like it could be really good, but is it worth the price? The styling is also odd as I don't think the figure looks much like the key art or the sprite from the game. It reminds me more of the look of Wolverine in the Japanese intro to the animated series, save for the X belt instead of the old buckle. I'm still in for Cyclops and Spider-Man and I should have Cyclops in a week or so which may sway me one way or not.
 
I also went with Amazon for Wolverine. I forgot to order him on hlj or Amiami, then I was contemplating BBTS since that's where I got Cyclops and Spidey. Wolverine was a choice under Cyclops on Amazon, if anyone is looking for him. I haven't shipped Scott from my POL.

Did everyone see this longer torso barbell some guy printed? It looks like it adds some articulation, but I heard it's $25.

 
That looks worth it to me.

Spider-Man's the only one I have on order. I hope he's good. The last... I can't remember how many SHFs I've ordered were hugely disappointing.
 
Yeah, I canceled Scott at the last minute. I don't usually ride or die by YouTubers, but the three videos I half watched were very joyless, even if two claimed otherwise.

Ain't got room for that.
 
I don't have the figure yet, but my gripe with Cyclops is more the head and neck area than the torso. His head sits so low and gives him a stocky appearance. I think I'll be fine with him when he's posed and I don't plan on doing the neutral, hero, pose with him.
 
I find it funny that this Wolverine is also listed as 5.9” tall (same height as Legends counterpart) and either that detail is being completely overlooked no one really cares anymore?
