Code Name: Quick Kick (Disavowed)
File Name: Ito, MacArthur S.
Primary Military Specialty: Infantry
Secondary Military Specialty: Intelligence
Birthplace: Los Angeles, California
Rank: E-4
Subject accepted early retirement from the GI Joe Unit, but given his lack of a real military background, did not qualify for many of the same benefits his colleagues did (Ito was initially recruited as an independent operative during a GI Joe operation and remained part of the team, granted the E-4 rank for pay equivalent despite never having enlisted). He rapidly returned to his former career in Hollywood, though, much to President Lewis's irritation. Ito upgraded his status from stuntman to leading man, appearing in such blockbuster action films as 'Flying Thunder,' 'Two-Fisted,' and his first attempt as a romantic lead in the risqué 'Curse of the Serpent Woman' (which received tepid reviews). Lewis has concerns about a former Joe garnering status among the Hollywood elite and thus maintains steady surveillance on Ito.
"We always wondered if Quick Kick missed making movies, but what he was doing before he joined up with us wasn't so much acting as throwing his body into harm's way so that bigger stars didn't have to. I guess he's kinda doing that now, but on a metaphorical level. He's building a reputation, he's going to galas, he's talking up movie producers, politically active film stars, making sure they know that the Joes never betrayed America. He's building sympathy for our cause among those people who have a very different kind of influence in America, and he's so damned charming it's starting to work. He's absolutely in danger if Lewis finds out, but if anyone can self-evacuate from a bad situation, it's Quick Kick. I don't know if he'll want to run, though. Last I heard, he was dating the lead of that weird Jane Austen retelling last year..."
