Hasbro Made-to-Order Figures

Apocalypse, no matter how large, is no match for the likes of our pets. He may stand proud upon the shelf, but heavy is the paw of justice, and when our furry judge do deem an empire be toppled, there is no force on heaven or earth that can stop the swipe. Apocalypse may have ended the Bronze Age, but the Plastic Age is in the hands (toe beans) of our four legged friends.
 
If they were going to do something from X-Men '97, I wanted Bastion.

Honestly, I came here to talk shit about Apocalypse, but he looks fantastic. I wish they did something about the elbow range, though. There's no point in giving him double-jointed elbows if the gauntlets are going to stop the articulation at 90 degrees anyway.
 
Not sure if this has already been noted but I just noticed that Pulse upped the price on the X-Men '97 Sentinels from $174.99 during the pre-order period to $219.99. So when they make some available for sale we'll be paying $45 more this year. :oops:

It took me a few days but I think I finally understand why Hasbro decided to unveil Apocalypse as their next Made to order figure. It’s because he’s the big bad of X-Men 97 season 2. The “D’uh” hit me like a thunderclap today

Wow. I don't think I would have bought it at $220. The $175 price tag was almost enough to get me to hold off, but I was on such an X-Men 97 high last year (and kind of still am) that I decided to go for it. Given that new price and that it seems $30 is becoming the new normal for standard figures, the made-to-order Apocalypse is one of the better deals around from Hasbro. I wonder what he'll cost after the fact, assuming everything still sucks a year from now.

Sheesh. Is my wallet a mutant? Because Hasbro's been sent to destroy it.

But hey, at least you get free shipping. 😅

Was hoping to get my hands on one of them if/when they released more, but I guess not. I'll stick with my 2 Titan Heroes Sentinels, then. They're really not bad figures, at least visually.
