I think (?) I just got charged for Budo from Pulse. The mystery paypal confirmations are hitting hard and fast this weekend. I should not have bought multiple bladed weapons at the ren faire today.

Budo too? Jesus Christ. I have no idea what's going on. All the outlets available to Canada are still saying December/January for stuff like Budo and Desert Scorpion. But those are two figures I want VERY badly. Desert Scorpion is literally like... top .. maybe top TWO of my favorite ARAH figures ever. Budo is within the top 5-10 easily.

I have a ONCE A YEAR sword budget, but I went intending to just get a seax based ENTIRELY on the books we were talking about, needed to scratch that itch and a blacksmith I buy from each year loves, loves making seaxes. But he had a small belt knife with an old school raven carving on the pommel and I ended up going back for that too before I went home. The seax is cool and all but I literally have been walking around with the other one since we got home. I'm so fuckin happy with it.

I think Pulse shipped Scorpion to me so I bet that guy should be hitting everyone soon. Budo is shipping so damned early. He's still listed as December 1 on Pulse but the charge that hit my Paypal tonight is the only thing I have on preorder with them that matches his price, and my order is no longer editable.

We used to live ahead, but now it seems Australia and now the maligned and disparaged tariffed US are getting everything ahead of us.

Truly, they are becoming great again.

Got an opened the Snake tonight. It’s… unlike so much other Joes stuff it is not so huge it gives me anxiety. It fits nicely on the shelf. The cockpit is a little cramped but I’ve got the Stinger driver in it right now and he looks fine. Way more ROM than I expected. The plastic feels very light and thin but that’s not a bad thing.
 
I feel like the timing of this deluge of Hasbro product might make for some good Amazon deals this holiday season. There's nothing like a glut of product to spark sales.

That would be pretty great because all of this coming at once has really got me to take a hard look at preorders and start trimming down. At the rate it's coming, a good chunk of it is just going to pile up and sit in boxes for a while anyway.
