McFarlane DC Multiverse

I thought the Batman Returns figs were today, so that's a bit disappointing to have to do this AGAIN tomorrow.

Wanted Batgirl, Riddler and Scarecrow. Eventually got all three but not without a TON of hassle and multiple "this item is sold out from under you" messages from different sites.

Also, McF's release of some retailers get it early, then everyone gets it is so frustrating.

Do we know when Wonder Woman vs whoever is pre-ordering?

LOL, I'm still playing the Walmart game on James Gordon and Silver Age Bizarro. I put an order in again today for free shipping of these figures that the site says are available and in stock. This is the 9th time that I've done this over a period of months now. They always send 3 messages over a course of a few days. Tomorrow I'll get a message saying that it's delayed. I'll get another one of those on Saturday and then on Sunday or Monday they'll cancel stating that the item was out of stock. I only keep trying because I refuse to pay double retail price for Gordon on ebay. I keep hoping that they'll actually come through one of these times, but I don't know who I think that I'm kidding....
 
Wow! That Scarecrow was the most difficult pre-order I ever had to deal with for a McFarlane DC figure. Right at noon I went to BBTS and the site was super slow. But I finally got in and put Scarecrow in my cart. Everything is already set-up for payment and such so I clicked the submit order button and it was already sold out. So I hurried over to the McFarlane store and the exact same thing happened. I put it in my cart and by the time I was ready to submit the order it was sold out again. Then I went to Amazon and to my surprise Scarecrow was up and it let me put it in my cart, but when I went to check out it was no longer available. I actually screamed at my computer at this point. Then I tried Walmart and I couldn't even get the website to load for some reason. By now it was like 12:15 and I figured I was SOL.

Finally I ended up at GameStop and they now had Scarecrow up for pre-order (I checked earlier and I couldn't find the listing) so I clicked the button expecting the same result I had everywhere else, but to my shock the order went through and I received a confirmation e-mail. So now I'm just crossing my fingers that it doesn't eventually get canceled. Man what a pain. Sometimes this hobby sucks. I don't enjoy "the hunt". I just want to be able to order the figures I want without all the hassles.
 
Picked up the 4 I wanted. Dry run in prep for tmrw’s gammit. I have a feeling the Returns wave will be an all time quick sell out.🤞for everybody.

Hell yes!!! onesie Penguin with that specific coat is my #1 want for figures from this film, and I’m buying the Duck and the Commandos anyway.

Mixed feelings on a lot of this.

I just bought a Gold Label Red Tornado relatively recently.

I bought the "Blackfire" variant of Starfire when that came out, but I'm sure that I'll buy this one as well.

I have the 3 Jokers Batgirl already and pre-ordered the "classic" Batgirl ealier today. I don't know that I need yet another.

I bought both versions of the movie Atom Smasher and bought the COIE Spectre, but again I'm sure that I'll buy this 2-pack also.

Zero interest in the retro stuff despite the presence of the Wonder Twins and Gleek. If I didn't have the Mattel versions of those characters then I'd probably buy these.

Zero interest in their crowdfunded movie Harley Quinn.
 
I know what you mean. No interest in crowdfunded Harley.

No interest in Purple Batgirl and definitely on the fence about Joker.

Atom Smasher is an absolute must have.

Superman, Blackfire, Spectre, and Red Tornado are all upgrades. Which I’m OK with.

NYCC sounds like a banger this year. Three weeks to go.

And just as an aside, these guys seem pretty excited and optimistic about 2026. Am I reading too much into that?
 
Superman looks exactly as I expected. Can't tell with the black background how well the mullet is executed but I assume well enough.

Again, black background, hard to tell, but it looks like the Penguin does have correct hands. Hooray, accuracy!

I feel like we are being trolled with these Batgirl figures. And look, he even brought back the side eye. Remember the side eye?

Joker looks like something I would have skipped the digital release for.

Why are we crowd funding 6 inch figures that could be inserted in any line?

I just had BBTS cancel my Sacrecrow figure pre order. What the hell? I've never had them do that. Now he's sold out everywhere. I have no idea why the cancelled the figure.

I agree. That's very weird. I've been doing business with them for like 20 years and have never had them do that on anything without sending an email explaining why (usually because they knew they weren't going to get any more stock) and certainly never on anything the same day as the pre-order. I'd reach out to them. It's possible that they just accepted too many pre-orders than what they expect to be able to fulfill, but even then I wouldn't think they'd cancel until they knew that for certain.

Maybe bc of Todd's weird aversion to Harley?

Speaking of - I gave up yesterday and finally opened the original McF classic Harley and DAMN her head is even huger out of the box. That choice is so odd and so easy to re-release and... and...
