I have to say I am not surprised. The conspiracy theories have to abound, but I am also a little gleeful because it could create another Epstein situation where the far right nutters won't accept any explanation outside of what they want to believe. So it could end up being another case of "release the files" truther nonsense that they won't let go of and the Trump regime will end up having to answer questions about it for the rest of their term.
 
All I can say is I'm back in college in my third year of a 5-year journey. This has placed me with 18 to 20 somethings. They welcome me in their physical hangouts and Discords. You know how many Discords I'm in? To quote Kirk, too many.

Even the most well spoken or well written person does not talk like that in Discord or DMs. I can think of one person that maybe, possibly could get that close with the judicious ellipses, but the whole thing has a. How do you do fellow kids vibe.

And I say that because I am that guy.
 
I'm sure I've gotten more lax than when I first started texting, but I am one who tries to text exactly like how I'd say it if that person were in front of me. I also can probably count on both hands how many times I've used "LOL" in the last 20-something years. BUT, I know I'm weird.

I usually make sure what I'm texting makes sense, and is exactly what I want to say. I don't know how many times I've deleted entire messages and started over again because it didn't make sense in my head.
 
It sure starts out in a Ken Burns' Civil War letter manner. I don't know. I hate how I don't believe anything anymore, but then I suppose that is the healthiest way to approach things nowadays. I've always been cynical, but it's just on a completely new level these past 9 years.

As you know, I usually just type out like crazy what I mean to say, with at least one word completely changed either because my phone thinks it has a better idea or my weird typo leads to an outlandish auto-correction. Occasionally that leads to something more entertaining than my original intent.

EDIT: see?!?!?! I wrote 'typo' and it corrected to 'type'. Idiot!
