G.I. Joe Classified Series

So I went to my local Walmart to return something. I always check the toy and entertainment aisles while I'm there even though this particular store does not typically receive collector-skewed figure lines. McFarlane being the exception lately. As I approach the toy aisle, I see the Hasbro island display that has been spotted in stores recently. I walk over to check it out and it has been picked through. Some Classified Firefighters, Star Wars Black Series, and some of the ML Thunderbolts are left. No Crystal Ball anywhere.

Feeling defeated, I was about to walk out but thought I would check the aisles just in case. I approach the midpoint of the aisle where the MCU Iron Spiders and Caps tend to hang out. I look around and then walk a little further down the aisle. On the bottom shelves, there was one Crystal Ball just sitting there in front of other non-related toys. I couldn't believe it.

Needless to say, I bought it. Walmart is typically out of the way for me and I was dreading trying to find this in-store. I should not have to look in-store since I had the preorder. Luckily, it somehow worked out.

Congrats man. It is a great feeling to find a desired figure just out of the blue, especially when you think it is sold out at the store you are in. That's why you have to check as many aisles as possible because you never know.

I thought we were past the multiple dicks conversation?

I've stopped army building, but I would definitely buy a second arctic bat because it came with enough stuff to tailor it into two very different looks.
I don't care about BATs and I -really- didn't care about the Arctic BAT, since it doesn't even hit the nostalgia button for me that BAT II would. But now that the SnowCat is coming? Yeah.... I'd fuckin' buy one. Goddamn it.

I will still say for the record that the *actual* best BAT is the Crimson BAT . . . with a full gear-swap with all the “new” parts on the Arctic BAT, not just the cyclops head and chest-plate but all the armor and the belt piece. I cannot help but think the two were designed with the swaps in mind because the Arctic BAT even looks good with the Crimson’s belt/holser and weird leg-pouch thing. Basically gives you a very standard Arctic BAT and then an insane engine of destruction super-BAT.

Every time I look at the arctic BAT I've been like "y'know, a second one of this dude would be cool but I absolutely don't need it" but now goddammit we have a tundra display to fill out Damien, we're effed. (I mean I kinda love having one dinged up arctic BAT making my Snow Serpent duo uncomfortable by staring at them like a psychopath but they are going to need firepower to take on the CAT.)

I didn't army build the serpents, either, but did get one of each color cos I could use them as unique troopers. The one with the ridiculous wolf cloak is nominally in charge.

They really could make some cash from us by doing a couple of reissues/repaints and toss in a few snowJoes to go with them.

Agreed.

Based on your BAT canon, I actually kind of love the idea even more of there being like... 6 of them. You've got this little fireteam of two Snow Serpents sent as an escort to bring the BATs out to the ambush location and the WHOLE time they're just sweating bullets because there's fucking SIX of these things that are going to pull them apart like string cheese if their WiFi signal dips out for fifteen seconds.

Seriously. Being in Canada, I never saw or heard of anyone locally getting the first Snow Serpent, so I'd really like to get that figure. And now I need an Arctic BAT. And I also never got Snowjob, who I now definitely must have. So the SnowCat funding minimally sold me three more action figures NOT counting whatever comes out from here onward for arctic-themed stuff.

I don't hit this thread much so you probably all know this already, but Ross has the Female Marine Sniper for $16.99. Comes loaded so I had to pick it up.
