Super 7 Ultimates Thread

They also have Snarf up for $65 at EE. Super7 has terrible prices, but Snarf for $65 is on another level.

But - like I'm a guy who begrudgingly just dropped $65 each for Flashback, Condor and Melodia and even I think it would be insane to pay $65 for Cheetarah or Tygra. Go to Target or Amazon and spend $30 less...

Yeah the idea of reissues makes sense for Super7 when they aren't already putting out basically the same product for less money. I did a quick check on eBay and Tygra and Snarf are both still going for more than $65US (sold listings). So I guess there is something to offering them up again in full kit for less than the secondary market. Cheetara though is seemingly going for less than $65 on average.

The deluxe Snarf is toy colors. I wouldn’t mind having the anime colors of the $65 release. But there’s no way I’m paying $65 for a figure that shouldn’t even be $35.

Condor hit my PoL so I finally shipped. Now that I've done that I have no T-Cats or Silverhawks pre-orders from Super 7. I think that's a first in a long time.

Yeah... this wave finally hot my pol today... not sure if I ship it now or wait for the flood of FMF product thats supposed to land in March

Hardware, Melodia, and Flashback arrived via BBTS, to join Stargazer and Hotwing I’ve had waiting in the wings (see what I did there) to open all together.

I do want to quickly mention that all three bird companions can perch on their respective Silverhawk’s forearm securely. This is an improvement over the birds that have been released previously.

Hardware is stout as shit, and has stubby limbs with fair articulation. Lots of movement in his hips but can’t get his knees to bend because of how awkward it is to grip the lower legs, they’re so little. His rolled pack is huuuuge and not hollow or functional. He has a large rifle and small pistol.

Melodia is my favorite of the bunch. She has an actual functional diaphragm pivot which can get her into better contraposto poses. She can wail on her keytar in convincing fashion. Her colors stand out like crazy in a great ‘80s way.

Ain't much to say about the 'Hawks. Stargazer is fine. I like his alternate grinning head with the extended bionic eye best. He will display in the shelf looking the most Earth-oriented among 'Hawks, Thundercats, and Masters of the Universe.

Hotwing looks good. Also prefer his grinning head. Had to look up what his unique abilities are, because I thought he was a speedster based on his design. He's a former magician? That's his gimmick? Had the toy as a kid but don't remember him from the show.

Flashback also looks good. His and Hotwing's colors offer some much needed contrast from the main team. Again, I remember him from the cardback cross sell, not the show. I didn't know anything about his abilities until very recently, seeing that he's the bridge and catalyst for why the Thundercats and Silverhawks crossover in the upcoming comic series. That's reason enough for me to add him.

With these, I'm pretty confident I can call this collection DONE. Though if they come out with more of Monstar's gang, I'll probably pick them up for the sake of their diverse designs.
